Antoinette and Carmen were priceless. Simply Native, 50 meters from a fully stocked grocery, was quiet, air conditioned, and clean. Yes- a hidden gem. Though the 10+ minute walk to town along a common road with limited sidewalks was adventurous, we would take taxi’s after dark. We also noted that the daytime Cruise Ship population dictated when the town was “open” and were surprised how the town closed early evening. Regardless, hiking to “Twin Brothers” and “The New Duff” were added stops we’d recommend. Cheers.

Very hospitable and friendly staff! A bit of a walk to downtown but you can easily take a taxi by downloading “aquarides” or taking the local bus (which is cheap). The area itself isn’t the best but no one gave us any problems. The restaurant upstairs had reasonably priced food and it tasted yummy.

I had a wonderful stay. The staff was so friendly and kind. The food was sooo good and fresh. It was nice to have real home cooked meals. I felt safe, happy, and there’s even a place to play pool and buy drinks. It was a nice stay and a 15 minute walk frown all of the shops.

The staff was amazing. We were late for our flight and they worked tirelessly to find us an immediate taxi. The room was amazing and the bed was better than the expensive resorts. A great option, that is in the heart of the city and within walking distance to all the sights and fun.

The room condition typically ok. There is a re-painting in progress on lobby so the room has a strong paint smell. Not recommended to book recently. In future may ok.

Homestay vibes🌴🇧🇸An authentic Bahamian Guesthouse experience! Warm, friendly, attentive staff! Traditional Bahamian breakfast available for purchase. I enjoyed trying out the local food. Tea/coffee and toast are complimentary. My room was cleaned and every care was taken to ensure I had a pleasant stay. Local supermarkets, churches and bars within walking distance. 20 min walk to Junkanoo beach, Nassau harbour/beach/shops.

Taxi driver told me not the best location but was OK for overnight waiting on connecting flight. Hotel and staff were really great, very friendly and helpful. Would have liked a chair in my room but other than that it was really good

The room was nice and as the pictures show and the location was close to the downtown. The owners are really nice! The negative part was there was a crackhouse just a few houses down the road and a lot of stray dogs which were barking at you as soon the sun sets.
