There is no wifi interference from the next door and when we made the reservation it said we must pay in cash, which is a little embarrassing. But the great place is the perfect place to stay for a rest. The owner of the house is a lovely pair. Although you have to share the front room with the owners, the extended stay is used to add rooms for guests. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff was very helpful. Although you need to be able to sleep on your bed and walk around the dining table, the person who served the breakfast was excellent.

I wanted to stay in a local be rather than the usual big hotel, which often has little atmosphere when I was composing in Ypres for a memorial. I went i with my wife and arrived in the middle of nowhere and discovered a farmhouse in the middle of nowhere. My wife and I were traveling by eurostar and spoke to Liz about transport links. To our delight, she offered to collect us from, ville. She also stated she would drop us off at, ville. We were staying for four days. Liz was there when we arrived in ville, where she arranged to wait. Just in case she had my mobile number. When we first entered the cottage, which is a connected cottage, we walked into a very large dining roomliving room. There was a wood stove blazing, which was lovely. Liz and her husband, john, were as warm and welcoming as the stove, and as soon as we had put our luggage down, we walked into a very large dining area living area. The house was immaculate. The obvious slow hosts ensure that the bedrooms and bathroom are kept clean. We would never anticipate the beds to be makeup, which is typically the job of a larger hotel, but the shower room was cleaned every day. There are three bedrooms upstairs. The bathroom shower is not impervious, but it didn't matter. The owners reside in another part

In no way suggest a stay. It was like being greeted and put up by pals during our visit by John and liz. We slept in their home, not in a separate room or confined to the bedroom. The accommodations were spotless and spotless, and the beds were cozy. Restful nights. Delicious, homemade English-cooked breakfast, including homemade jam, bread, marmalade, and teacoffeeorange juice. What more could you ask for in terms of setting up for the day? With no location too far, it is well situated to traverse the southern tip of Ypres. If you have not already planned your trip specifically, Liz has a wealth of experience and can assist you in getting there. In their lounge, there is a variety of books and artifacts that are in good condition. Set in a peaceful rural setting, yet within easy reach. With the main road into Ypres, you can start and end your day with serene panoramas. Perfect! Without a doubt, I would recommend a stay.

This is a place you read about on places like Trip Advisor and think it can't be that good. I mean, really? The difference between the cherry blossom and most places is that the cherry blossom delivers the goods. Rarely have I felt so welcome and cared for at a friend's house, let alone at a be or hotel. Maybe that says something about me or my friends. Anyway. John and Liz and the cats are excellent hosts. They are knowledgeable about the memorials and fields of the ypres area and will give you great advice about your stay. Jon is knowledgeable about local beers, and I will be forever in his debt for introducing me to Le coffee. Breakfast was very tasty and very generous. One of my most lasting memories of our time in ypres will be talking with john and liz in the front room over a cold beer or two. Rarely do you stay in a place like the cherry blossom and rarely do you meet people of the calibre of john and liz.
