This was a great dog friendly place to stay. I highly recommend this resort for all those looking to get away and relax. Finn’s folk food and the Fluke fine dining restaurant were amazing also. The beaches are a short walk from the resort, make sure to bring a beach shelter and booties for your dog to keep them safe from the hot sand and sun!

Amazing stay! We will definitely be back! Attentive & courteous staff, very clean and modern accommodations. Comfortable rooms, gorgeous lobby and nice continental breakfast (pastries and homemade preserves were wonderful). The 6-course dinner at the Fluke was absolutely amazing. Amenities galore ... pool, hot tubs, fire pit, heated bathroom floors and full size laundry (laundry soap & fabric softener provided)! Easy 20 minute drive into Charlottetown.

Gorgeous property with large modern rooms, consistently friendly staff who were always offering to help, a very nice breakfast included in a beautiful open area, a quick walk to a huge, sandy uncrowded beach, and there is a really great beachfront restaurant with a fabulous view. We were so impressed with this place and we will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed the property, rooms and all of the amenities. Lamar was friendly and helpful. Views were awesome. We didn’t have the balcony, but everything was great. Had dinner across the road - definitely worth it. Walk the beaches during the low tide as well. Cheers

Highly recommend the Blackbush if you are looking for a slower retreat with a high quality experience. The staff were all very supportive and helpful when it came to planing out stay. The common areas and the grounds were stunning and comfortable and made the stay even more enjoyable. The restaurants on site are both very good, but I would highly recommend the Fluke, the chef, Greg Arsenault who was the previous head chef at the Blue Muscle Cafe, created a fun atmosphere and the food was some of the best we had during our time in PEI.

This is a unique and very beautiful resort that I would highly recommend. We loved that it was by the ocean with a beautiful walking trail along the shore. The surrounding countryside was peaceful so peaceful. Just what we were looking for! It was an easy drive to Charlottetown and a great location for exploring the rest of the Island.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful spot, the beach is fantastic, great place to walk and relax; the restaurant Fluke is excellent, the young chef Greg is extremely creative; the hotel is very modern, the room faced the beach and was spacious and comfortable. The problems were a lack of professional hospitality, by which I mean the reception and serving staff seemed poorly trained. The biggest problem for us absence of any good coffee on the premises; no real espresso machine either in the breakfast place or in the room (the coffee maker in the room is not great and does not provide an espresso; replacement with something like Nespresso would be good). To get a decent coffee one has to walk across to the other restaurant Fin Folk Food and that too we were not told until the 4th day of our stay! The breakfast is poorly designed and presented. They seemed to run out of key elements like nuts, berries, some types of bread etc. and the coffee at breakfast is terrible. It would greatly improve the attractiveness of the wonderful facilities and, especially, the location that the hotel has if the management and the service were improved.
