The room was very clean and tidy, which is not usually the case in motels. The guy at the reception was very professional. The motel is 6 minutes by car from north sydney and beautiful Indian beach.

I'll be back soon. I have to say how lovely my stay was when I've just spent at the newly renovated Highland motel. The management and employees were always cordial and welcoming. Everything was in my clean, quiet room, including new floors, paint, and decor. The images shown above are outdated. I felt secure as a woman in this lovely, serene motel, and there was enough illumination throughout the property. The space had air conditioning, a small fridge and microwave, soft mattresses, and sufficient towels, and new floors. The absence of seating in the main office space or breakfast service was the only drawback to the current pandemic, which is understandable given our current health regulations for the comid pandemic. Oh, and I must point out that the wifi was fantastic.

My introduction to Highland was the desk clerk telling the woman in front of me, who spoke with a Quebecois accent, I can't comprehend your response. The problem was eventually resolved by her apathetic husband, but the mood was well. The cheerful housekeepers compensated for the stumbling young man, and the room was at least clean, with a new mattress on the bed. However, the electrical outlets weren't all working, and my laptop, which relies on working electricity, was dead in 20 minutes. It's not the fault of the Highlands, but why have outlets when they don't work? The proprietor gave me the next morning about a good breakfast place that is a bit of a driver's dor view restaurant, which turned out to be a delight. In a pinch, I would stay here again, but I'll likely explore the Sydney metro more before making a reservation.
