On July 17, 2020, we stayed at the Chatham's Saxons Motel. We had easy check-in, and we were in our room within minutes. I was very pleased with the recently renovated room. They did an excellent job. The room had two mattresses, nice furniture, a micro wave, and a large mini fridge. There is no problem with hot water in your shower, and they even had lovely towels. On the east side of town, the hotel is in a convenient location. The service was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends and will stay at the Saxon's Motel again if I come back to the area.

We needed lodging to attend a family issue. The Saxel motel was appropriately priced. It was an eastgate checkin, pleasant dealings with cookies at the front desk, and a tidy room. We were lucky to have been upgraded to a king room and decided to stay an additional night. We were uncertain of what we would receive, which is why we only reserved one night in advance. It would be exaggerated to say we were pleasantly delighted. Would undoubtedly return and strongly suggest it. The only vegetative comment we have is that the ac was loud when it kicked in, which sounded like an airplane taking off, but we were content to have a cool room. The front desk served a continental breakfast, but for those seeking more, there is a timhorton right across the street.

I spent 2 nights at Saxons Chatham and strongly recommend it. It's not a taj mahal but the rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly and quiet. There was a minor problem with the room and the repair guy was on my door in 2 minutes. I will be back.

When I planned my trip around southwest onofrio, I expected this to be the lowest budget motel so didnt expect much. In the end, it turned out to be the best motel of all three based on pricing, location, service and quality of room. Staff was friendly and professional, the room was clean, although there was a slight cigarette smell, but I sort of got used to it after a while. The decor was outdated, but all motels have old decor. The location was great, right next to a highend restaurant if you want linen tablecloth service. The motel was affordable and the value was better than the other motels. All rooms are conveniently located on the ground floor, making them ideal for bikes.
