Great stay, peaceful, restaurant was amazing. So much to see. No Ac in the rooms but after the sun goes down past the mountains, the rooms cool down fast. No problem at all sleeping.. we stayed 3 days at plus 30. We also stayed last winter for 1 night and again amazing place. Check in is at 4pm no earlier so time your travel. Nothing negative about this resort, we loved it.

The staff here are amazing! Very helpful and friendly. There is so much to see and do at this location that you will want to spend a couple of days here at least. From checking out the ghost town to swimming in the pool, to the beach, games room, library, and the walking path, there’s something for everyone. We truly enjoyed our stay!

The hotel and staff were wonderful. A couple of things to note: there is no AC - a standing fan is included, we brought a table fan as well and our first floor room was a comfortable temperature. The indoor public spaces are definitely under utilized by the hotel but have so much potential (my little loved the ping-pong tables). The pool is great but it’s a painted concrete floor - if the hotel were to put a layer of grip down, especially near the steps into the pool & hot tub, it would help. All of that being said, we will absolutely be back and plan to bring more family with us.

It was a great place to stay and explore. Food was good, staff was friendly and helpful, and the building itself was very neat to explore.

We only booked one night and stayed for three nights. Great pool and hot tub, beautiful grounds, nice beach to relax (we bought our own chairs), fantastic food at the restaurant and so many things to explore on the property including and extensive ghost town, train-car museum and a train ride. There is also an indoor garden to enjoy, so many place to sit and relax within the hotel. The staff was super, everyone was very nice and accommodating. Rooms were clean, view from the balcony on the 4th floor was really nice to enjoy. My biggest complaint is always the complete lack of shower pressure, the shower pressure was the best I have ever experienced. The originally family that built the hotel is still running the hotel and the history is well worth exploring. There are two geese at the beach, barn swallows and variety of other birds including loons on the lake. A few heads up items, there is no air conditioning but the rooms had fans you could set where you like, and in the evening the temperature cools off so you get a nice breeze. We had no issue with not having air conditioning. The TV only has a couple of channel like ME TV so if you need evening digital entertainment, bring some along. There is wifi but not in the rooms, we didn't miss it. The lake water is cool but great for cooling off on hot days. Highly recommend the hotel and ghost town! My suggestion to the hotel...turn the space above the paddle rental builidng into an nice lounge over looking the lake.

The room I stayed in was very nice, clean and comfortable. The restaurant hours for breakfast and dinner were well-staged. The last couple of days spent here were very warm, 27 & 29 degreesC. No air conditioning though - getting to sleep in the heat was a bit of a problem. Otherwise, it's been a wonderful stay here.

The view. Had my morning coffee on the balcony which looked out towards the lake, gardens and mountains. Room was clean and comfortable but would have been nice to have a microwave especially to heat up food for kids. Lots to do. The Grandsons were busy the whole day@!

Like many others, we have driven past this hotel many times before finally making it our destination. It was so worth it! The staff were all so wonderful, the property is well kept, there is so much to do, and our daughter had a blast. My husband left his wedding ring in the room and the staff found it, phoned us, and arranged to have it mailed back to us. Thank you so, so much to them for the lovely stay and for saving the day!

This is an amazing scenic location. We love the ghost town, the pool and lake views from every room. It is older but that is part of the charm. It is a quirky nostalgic spot. 10 years now and counting, we love our annual getaway.

This was a stop off on a long road trip and wound up being one of my favourite places I stayed on the trip. I'd definitely go back for a couple of nights, it's nice and close to Revelstoke while having what feels like its own private lake. All the rooms have balconies and a view, so it was a great place to just relax. I really loved the indoor gardens too, as well as the outdoor ones. Only downside was lack of wifi in the rooms as I was travelling solo with no data so I was relying on wifi to keep in touch with family and making onward plans. But this was OK as it worked fine in the public areas. Thanks for a great stay!

Our new go-to place whenever we're near Revelstoke! The property is absolutely beautiful and so unique. Both the hotel and our room were spotless, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced, and there was so much to do, from exploring the beautiful grounds to visiting the ghost town. We only booked one night and immediately wished we had stayed longer! A special shoutout to Rusty, the resident cat, who was a huge hit with our toddlers and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. We can't wait to come back!
