We were thrilled to be greeted warmly by the helpful front desk staff when we arrived at the hotel Amen, a fairly new hotel in Villarrica. Our room was spacious, and the bed was cozy. Everything was clean and tastefully done. The hotel is on the outskirts of town, but not on the lake. Only a few steps to restaurants, shops, and bars. Easy access to lake walks. Some rooms have a small, obstructed view of the lake and the volcano. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room on ith floor. The views of the lake and volcano from here are better. There is also a large terrace that, unfortunately, was not open when we were there. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was typical bread, meat, cheese, sugary cereal, yogurt, and cakes. The food portions are adequate, but not generous, and were already portioned out on each table of five slices of meat, five pieces of cheese, etc. We could enjoy coffee, toast and rolls, but butter and jam were provided in tiny pots. This appears a little bit tight, but manages costs and waste. Wifi does not work in the bedrooms, only in the hallways and in the breakfast area. The location is great, very close to many restaurants and the lake. Maybe the location is the greatest plus. The hotel is new. The internet was inconvenient. Breakfast is nice but it is very late at 8.00 o'clock for this reason we missed twice. No bar.

Hotel Amen, a relatively new hotel in Villarrica, is where we were delighted to arrive. The bed was cozy, and our room was properly sized. Everything was gorgeous and tastefully designed. The hotel is located on the outskirts of town but not on the lake. Bikes around the lake are simple to enter. Some rooms have a limited view of the lake and the Villarrica volcano. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room on the ninth floor. There is also a large terrace that, unfortunately, wasn't open when we were there. Breakfast was included in our room price and consisted of regular bread, meat, cheese, sugary cereal, yogurt, and cakes. They are adequate but not enormous, and were already portioned out over five pieces of meat and five slices of cheese per table. We could have coffee, toast, and rolls, but they were served in small pots on the table. This appears a little sparse, but it manages costs and waste. Wifi not working in the bedrooms, only in the hallways and breakfast area. We requested to use the breakfast area in the evenings to send emails, but there was always a member of staff present, which felt odd. We weren't going to take the spoons! The bedrooms are on the ground and ground floors, there is no elevator lift. Looking elsewhere is best if you have mobility issues
