It appears that foreign visitors do not appreciate the hotel. The entire five days I was there, I was the only nonchinese resident. There were five 7 of them in the front desk staff, but one spoke extremely basic English. There are virtually no records of the hotel being accessible because it was the only one that was close enough to the Beijing international convention center, where I was scheduled to attend a meeting. When I requested a taxi from the beijing capital airport to take me to tu ha hotel, my taxi driver stared at me with a blank stare. Luckily, that man was kind enough to call the hotel for guidance. Every time I took a taxi back to the hotel, this happened. I learned a trick afterward. Tu ha is behind the tibet hotel, a more wellknown hotel, so if you want to avoid explaining your hotel location, just ask them to send you to the tibet hotel. Take the subway, which is about 10 minutes stroll from the hotel and the train station is next to the tibet hotel. The hotel appears to be unfamiliar to foreign visitors. The entire five days I was there, I was the only nonchinese citizen there. There were 5 7 of them!, and only one of them spoke very basic English. Dont consider any special requests as they could be unable to understand you or it will take

I'm not sure if this hotel is a variation on other hotels in Beijing. If people from outside are traveling to this city, I will say that our experience was beyond any reasonable expectations. On the surface, this hotel looks great, has a lovely reception, has lovely rooms with en suite bathrooms, and has all the usual amenities one would expect from a decent hotel, but beyond that our experience was, to say the least, unusual. There were three cans of soft drink, two small bottles of water, a bottle of coke, a small tin of beer, and a miniature brandy in the tiny bar. Anything you use from the bar is never replaced during your stay, we requested more water but nothing came. The beds were like morticians slabs, it would have been more comfortable to sleep on the floor. I like an extra pillow but was unable to get one. I am all for experimenting with new cuisine, but the restaurant menu had some odd dishes that never really did it for my gastronomic juices stewed bullfrogs, goose heads, and chicken feet are examples of the delicacies on offer. We had to sleep in on our final day because jet lag had taken over. When I finally walked from our room to the reception, a staff member arrived to inquire about the restaurant and said that the restaurant had closed and that
