The only downside to the hotel is that in the front desk staff only the concierge can converse with you in English, so if you have anything out of the ordinary to discuss with the front desk staff, involve him. I stayed here five nights and was very pleased. Wireless internet was not available, but they have free wired internet in the rooms. There is an ATM in the lobby that has an "English" button on it. Bell staff is great - especially for getting taxis. If you need a taxi, plan to wait 15-20 minutes, possible more in rush hour. We even went out to the street to catch our own cab and were not any more sucessful that the bellmen - its just that busy, but taxis are super cheap. The concierge will write in Chinese where you need to go, and they also will give you a card from the hotel to show the taxi driver for your trip back to the hotel. Food was good in the restaurant. Location is convenient to all the storesmarkets and sights, but not in the middle of them, which I found nice.

This hotel is highly recommended by everyone! The hotel is nicely lit and tidy. They have an amazing lobby, a fantastic buffet, and a terrific menu if you choose to leave the buffet. I'm not sure why you'd do that, but the option is available. There is a good buffet to choose from. The rooms are modern and very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and will go out of their way to assist you and make sure that you have a pleasant stay. The rooms utilize a system in which you must insert your room key at the entry to power your room, access the TV, and turn on the lights. This hotel surpassed all of my expectations in every way.

We had a great stay here for three nights on our group tour. Our room was a large king room with a separate office area just inside the door. Our bathroom had a separate tub and shower and was the only bathroom on our trip that had a purified water tap on the bathroom sink for brushing teeth. Our room was very clean and quiet and I can't say enough about the delicious breakfast. The office area was great for organizing after a long flight to China.

I would love to return to this place. I recently stayed at the hotel with a tour group of students from Australia. I was unsure what to anticipate after reading a few unfavorable reviews and some excellent ones. The hotel was excellent. The entryway is roomy and glamorous, the rooms are stylish and spacious, and all the amenities were superb. There is a large staff on duty to assist with any need. I admired the ultra modern fixtures and rain showers. The power lines and light switches were in fantastic locations, and the lighting was perfect. The robots handling room service deliveries and cleaning was an added bonus. Breakfast buffet costs 1010 and offers a huge variety of delectable western and Chinese cuisine. There is a spacious gym and a lovely pool. To use the pool, you need speed and a swimming cap.

I spent two nights at Hua New Century Hotel. Check-in was quick. The room was very spacious with work space and a spacious bathroom area. Although the hotel claimed that all rooms were non-smoking, two of the four rooms in all had a really strong cigarette odor. I also found cigarette ash in the bathroom sink. The sink was also not particularly clean. Breakfast was good with more Chinese menus. Hotel recommendations: make it very strict or implement high fines if any of the guess smoke in the room and pay more attention to bathroom cleanliness standards.

This is a clean hotel with plenty of amenities and spacious rooms. Location is close to subway line 8 but not walkable to many attractions. It is rather expensive given many other hotels of similar class cost less in better locations.

Nothing near by. Carpet not so clean, especially at the corners. Internet was slow and bad, and luckily hotel provided a router. Breakfast is ok with wide enough selection. If traveller is not picky, generally ok.

For the most part, it was a pleasing 16 night stay. The hotel lobby is very nice... the room was pleasing... and the restaurant was just fine. As a review of the room, it was a non-smoking room, but every once in a while, you could catch a whiff of some of the old smoke. The bed was great, if you like firm. I personally, like it a little softer, but it was a good bed none the less. The shower was absolutely amazing! A granite lined square with glass doors, and water pressure that left you feeling like the job got done. It would get very hot, and you could essentially use it as a sauna, if you wanted. Unfortunately, no great views, unless you're at the northside upper floors... Olympic stadium about 3 miles away. The line 8 subway (north-south) was only about 200m from the hotel. That was perfect for either heading up to the nest, or south into the city. The staff was very nice. Tons of concierge and restaurant staff, who most could speak enough english to communicate successfully. Request a non-smoking room, and more than likely you'll enjoy your experience there. I definitely recommend it for it's quality, and ease of transportation.

The hotel located conveniently for my purpose. I need to go early in the morning to Bei Tu Cheng Station for some charity event (6am). The hotel is very close to Anhuqiao train station (1 station away from Bei Tu Cheng), and just take less than 5 minutes to get there. The thing is, the hotel not close to convenient store and its pretty hard for us (me and my friend) to get water, snack, etc. Its also pretty far from central city, it took me 20 minutes by taxi to Sanlitun area (around 30 rmb). When it comes to hotel room, its extraordinary, i like the bed, the TV, and its very clean and not smell at all. The shower also very good (especially after walk 25km in great wall). The breakfast is superb, a lot of choices, from fruit to cheese, from chinese food to french toast. I look forward to this hotel again for my next visit, since i didn't have much chance to go to other places.

hotellet visste seg å være meget bra av kvalitet. rimelig i pris ved forhåndsbestilling. mitt rom ble også oppgradsert, uten videre... fantastisk rom. nytt og lukseriøst. beliggenheten var ok. nært brids nest, elelrs er det uansett et ork med trafikken i Beijing, så tid må beregnes uansett hvor en skal. Men hotellet i seg selv var en fornøyelig opplevelse.

Finding the hotel from the airport was probably the biggest problem. We wasted from 20 - 30 minutes trying to get a cab driver that knew where the hotel was or even heard of it. My wife is Chinese, so there was no language barrier on this issue. The hotel itself was very nice inside. The room was clean. I was impressed with the touch screens for turning on the lights. Very modern and classy room. We also ate breakfast downstairs. Lots of choices for the buffet breakfast. Breakfast wasn't free. I paid after eating, but then when paying my final bill, I was charged again. Thankfully I had a receipt to prove I had already paid for the breakfast. The matter was resolved. The hotel does seem out of the way as I had previously read. But, I would stay there again.
