The best choice in turban. Just outside of Turban, at the heart of a vineyard plantation, an authentic hacienda with comfortable rooms, great friendly service, romantic veranda overlooking vineyards, with good authentic restaurant and a lot of charm around.

This is a good choice if you want an atmospheric place to stay in Turban. All the other hotels I saw in Turban didnt have the same character. It is near the city center but in a peaceful location surrounded by grape vines. The bazaar and museum are both a short stroll from the lodge and a longer walk from the lodge. The manager speaks good English and was very welcoming when I came after a long, tiring trip. Since the staff doesnt speak English, communication can be challenging. The room was more of a comfortable place than luxurious. The roof restaurant was excellent, despite the slow service. The food is Chinese and the portions are generous. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the fresh melon and the fact that they had toast! The lodge can arrange a car and driver to all the nearby attractions. Im pleased I stayed here and will definitely come back to Traverse City.

Yes, it's beautiful and attractive with spacious rooms and nice bathroom, but it also demands patience and the common areas need a refreshment. The hotel staff tried very hard, but the results were rather random. Checking in proved to be lengthy, and the restaurant and reception staff could use some training. Ignore the dirty tablecloths and try the food at the rooftop restaurant, it's really good.

A charming little lodge! I've had the pleasure of staying at the Silk Road Lodge twice, and both times I have some fantastic memories. It is so gorgeous and in a fantastic location. The courtyards and rooftop terraces are wonderful places to recharge one's batteries because the rooms are large and clean. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is close to numerous tourist attractions, and if necessary, the personnel will assist you in locating a driver for the day. Min minaret, the museum, and the town center can all be reached on foot from the lodge. Staying at the lodge is a wonderful option if you need a day of rest. There are numerous places to unwind with a decent book or enjoy a card game. The lodge is very photogenic if you want to take some fantastic photos, and the Wifi is adequate to carry out your business if required. The lodge's cuisine is also superb. The main dinnerlunch menu features excellent local cuisine, including da pan gi big plate chicken, which is my favorite and can accommodate 23 people. There are plenty of foreigners arriving and leaving at the lodge, making you not feeling isolated, and you could easily meet some new friends. If you choose to remain at the silk road lodge, you won't be disappointed, you won't stay more!.

The hotel is situated among grape vines in a lovely location with numerous terraces where you may enjoy the views over a quick drink or two. This is the location for you if you're staying with the family and you must be mindful of that when you do. We observed empty containers that were never filled, and a very little collection of paper napkins in the dining room. If you are missing your grandkids with their screams and squeals that keep you up all night, this is the place for you! In this hotel, tissues seem to be a problem. We noted empty boxes that weren't replenished, and very few paper napkins in the dining room. Although one must take the rough towels with the smooth, softeners are needed for them. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast, which included plenty of choices and excellent coffee. However, leave early as a dish has been gone, it cannot be replaced. The restaurant's meals are fine, but they come with a plethora of hot, dried, chewy chillies that aren't for the faint of heart!.
