This place is highly recommended. stayed here for one night. The room was simple yet immaculately clean, with air conditioning, a fan, a fridge, a hot shower, a relaxing pool area, and a great position in the center of Jack. The service is what truly sets this establishment apart. The manager, Luis, went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. From permitting a slightly early check-in, local advice, concern for the safety of my motorcycle parking it in the lobby overnight to ensuring that it was safe from theft. He even awoke early to make me breakfast because I had left early and the hotel breakfast began at 8! He couldn't have been more accommodating.

This hotel was a little disappointing because I'm always searching for a good deal. The location is next to a bar with loud music playing well into the late evening which indicates that I didn't do my research. If you enjoy Jack and know it's a party town, do your research! If that matters to you, the showers didn't have hot water. Also, the pool was in dire need of cleaning. I can say that the air conditioning was adequate. The host, Joe, was very nice and accommodating. It appears the hotel is trying, but it's not yet there.

It's easy to walk to the beach, and close to many bars, clubs, and tour guides. This accommodation is located in the center of Jack, but it isn't too central to be affected by the fiesta locos on the main street. We were greeted by a very welcoming tico named Louis. He was very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms and breakfast were ok, but I thought it was a very good value for money.

Private house with a pool with wildlife all around. Secure entrance. You could see the Pacific Ocean from your balcony. The owners were very helpful!

So this is far from being a hotel... it is a giant party house; 4 floors, 6 bedrooms/bathrooms, living room, pool... etc. However we didn't know there would be no Wi-Fi and no towels provided and no hot water! :( As usual in Costa Rica, for us the location was tricky to find... but we found it. It is in a beautiful location... the pool was very nice after the rain stopped, we couldn't have used the outdoor BBQ/Grill as it looked like it was taken apart. The beds were comfy enough... the only positive point was waking up at 6:30am and going out onto the 4th floor balcony and watching all the birds! However, I wouldn't stay here again as it needs improvements... unless I was going with a huge party for the weekend and don't care.

We never even checked in. We arrived up a dirt road, with no signs to an old stone place and it looked completely abandoned. We drove up, and then just turned around, left and checked in somewhere else down the road.

This place really sucks, seems pretty nice in pictures but has been neglected, apparently for years. There are things like the balcony light not have a switch, the one of the celling fas not working, a single ac unit for the whole place. For these day and age not having Wifi, seems pretty ridiculous. The kitchen is supposed to be semi-equiped, but there is almost nothing. No cookware not utensils, not even coffee mugs. In general everything is in a very poorly and abandoned state.
