We had an amazing stay at Hotel Arco Iris. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and the lively main strip. Parking was easy, and the room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. What truly made our stay special was the staff. From check-in to check-out, everyone was incredibly helpful and responsive. Being able to text with any questions or concerns and get quick replies made everything so convenient. Since I had a very early checkout, they kindly prepared a breakfast to go—which tasted absolutely fantastic! Such a thoughtful touch. When I return to Tamarindo, I will definitely be staying here again. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Hotel Arco Iris. Pura Vida! 🌿

We stayed here as a couple in Room 15 (second-floor corner), and the view alone made it worth it—beautiful scenery right from the room. There is AC in the rooms! The hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot but still central to everything, which was perfect. You can escape the noise when you want, but you’re never far from restaurants, bars, or the beach. We visited during March Break—aka the American “Spring Break”—and while the town was lively, the hotel felt like our little peaceful hideout (a big win if you’re not trying to party 24/7 😄). The property itself is very clean and has a quaint, boutique feel. It’s smaller, so you don’t get overwhelmed with crowds—which honestly made it even better for a relaxing stay. Henry at reception was fantastic—super friendly and always happy to help with anything. They also offer laundry service every morning for $5 USD/kg, and we usually had it back the same day if we dropped it off early. Breakfast is served from 7:00–9:00 AM and was consistently amazing. There are about 5 options, but they’re very accommodating. We had everything from sourdough with avocado and eggs to yogurt bowls with homemade granola and fresh fruit, and omelettes with fruit—everything was fresh and delicious. There’s also a small pool with both shaded and unshaded lounge chairs, perfect for relaxing. The beach is about a 7 minute walk. Since we went during high season, it was quite busy, and renting a chair costs around $25–30 USD depending on who you ask.

We had a great stay! We found it quiet and peaceful, and a short walk to the beach and main strip. We loved the daily breakfasts and the pool was a great amenity. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful! The hotel helped us arrange transport to and from the airport, and we booked an excursion as well, which was awesome! Our room was very clean!

I stayed at Hotel Arco Iris for 7 days with my daughter. The daily breakfast, which is included with your stay was spectacular. The waiter, was friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The hotel is very central. The beach was not a far walk (5-8 minutes). We loved our experience.

Absolutely one of the best places I have stayed at! From the amazing staff to the little oasis of a hotel you will definitely not regret staying here! The reviews about the cleanliness is spot on it truly is that clean. The breakfast was phenomenal which was included in our stay! Don’t worry about the walk to the beach it truly isn’t bad at all and I found it to be a great way to see the town everyday! The staff at the hotel were not just nice but super helpful and give you local spots to you to check out. So sad to be leaving all of the staff they truly made the trip better than I could have imagined!

Our room was immaculate and absolutely lovely! Our single bungalow had a hammock as well. Beautiful setting close to many wonderful restaurants. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning which was included. Spent 11 days at Hotel Acro Iris and highly recommend it. Christian is a conscientious waiter who does an excellent job. Carlos one of the concierges went way overboard to help us and ensure our stay was perfect. He is a wonderful and extremely polite young man!!

We had a very pleasant week staying at Hotel Arco Iris. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Breakfast options were all excellent and delicious. Our bungalow was very comfortably appointed. Lots of storage, shower products, hairdryer, fridge and safe. We enjoyed our front porch hammock and seating area daily. The pool was great and had plenty of lounging space.This lush, peaceful property, just minutes walk from the beach and the center of town, was the perfect place for us.
