Un petit coin de paradis, face à la mer. Manger ou siroter un cocktail les pieds dans le sable et dans le hamac, un petit moment de bonheur au Sol de Bahia. La chambre est très bien et moderne.

Lugar preciso en Playa Larga, habitación muy limpia y modernas,con vistas al mar una preciosidad, zona muy tranquila. Disponen de un bar restaurante muy bueno, recomiendo la langosta, camarones y sus cócteles maravillosos. Sin duda una estancia maravillosa.

Service Team um Fernando war sehr freundlich und zu jeder zeit bereit uns zufrieden zu stellen. Wäsche Service war unglaublich - in 2 Stunden gewaschen getrocknet und gebügelt und das für 0,5€ für ein Hemd waren sehr zufrieden

La chambre n'est pas terrible, elle aurait vraiment besoin d'un relooking, par contre l'emplacement est génial, à quelques mètres de la mer, on a vu un super lever de soleil, la nourriture est correcte, il n'y a rien à voir dans le village.

De foto's klopten niet met de kamer die we gekregen hebben. Wij hadden geen directe toegang vanuit de kamer naar het strand. Via het bar/eet gedeelte kon je wel zo het strand op lopen. Mogelijk hebben wij iets anders gekregen. Verder valt er niets op aan te merken! De gastheer is zeer vriendelijk en serveerde bovendien een uitstekend ontbijt! Ondanks dat er problemen waren met stroom maakte hij er het beste van. Kamer is netjes.

Schöne Unterkunft in bester Lage. Leider keine Restaurants in der Umgebung die annehmbar sind. Die Unterkunft selbst bietet gutes Essen an. Einziges Manko kein WLAN. Sonst super schöner Strand und perfekte Lage.

Very helpful owner (Joel) who sorted out all our needs and helped find us another Casa as his was full. Ate at the Casa as well, very nice. Excellent location on the beach.

Nette Unterkunft direkt am Stand. Leider brannte die ganze Nacht das grelle Licht vom Restaurant. Zudem hatten wir lärmige Nachbarn, und auch im Restaurant war noch Action bis in die späte Nacht. So war es schwierig zum Schlafen. Das Meer war von Algen getrübt. Alles in allem ok, doch bei diesen Dingen könnte noch angesetzt werden.

Quiet beachfront casa in the middle of nowhere. Mostly European tourists in town on various short group stays. Our hosts were extremely attentive and provided great service. The little restaurant next door provided decent Cuban cuisine… albeit at prices above Cuban average and billed in Euros rather than CUP, but it is to be expected with beach visitors. One upside is that we were able to settle our restaurant and bar bill by IBAN transfer at the end of the week, which was very convenient and rare for Cuba— a definite plus. There are plenty of places within walking distance in town if you’re looking for standard fare. Very clean room, and with great air conditioning and hot water. Pack good bug spray, as the Cienaga de Zapata invites lots of little biting things at dawn and dusk. We experienced regular power outages, so make sure you have extra batteries; this should be expected everywhere in Cuba. While there were two beds provided, both were small. North Americans travelling as a couple may find it unusual to sleep apart and uncomfortable to sleep together. Our hosts arranged outings and taxis for us in the area to see local birds. Friendly beach dogs were never far away.

This Casa is great, amazing location - you open your door onto the beach. The cocktails are great (mojito especially, make sure you ask for no salt in the margarita) and the food is fresh and pretty good (seafood paella is worth a try). For Playa Larga, this is one of the best casa’s but it still has a few things to be desired (no hand soap in the toilet or shampoo in the shower).

The room couldnt be closer to the sea and had a beautiful ovean view. But very little privacy as the bar/restaurant was pretty much on the porch in front of the room. Other oceanview rooms had a private porch though. The guy that runs the place was extremely nice and helpful.

Ich muss sagen, die Lage ist wirklich toll! Man kommt morgens aus seinem Zimmer und man ist direkt am Strand, kann sich in die Hängematte legen und dort erstmal lesen, bevor es zum Frühstück geht (ebenfalls am Strand). Die Bucht ist total klar, sehr flach und ohne irgendwelche Meeresbewohner, über die man sich sorgen machen müsste. Die Sauberkeit war OK. Auf dem einen Badehandtuch, welches uns bereit gelegt wurde, waren nicht identifizierbare Flecken und im Zimmer roch es die ganze Zeit muffig-modrig, obwohl 24/7 gelüftet wurde. Meinem Kumpel ist das kaum aufgefallen, aber mich persönlich hat es sehr gestört. Da wir nur eine Nacht da waren und davon die meiste Zeit eh draußen, war es aber erträglich. Das Frühstück war leider etwas mager. Ich bin jemand, der immer schnell satt ist und selbst für mich hat es nur gerade so gereicht. Das Abendessen und die Cocktails hingegen waren sehr gut und reichlich, kosteten aber dementsprechend auch. Alles in allem war es dennoch ein netter Abstecher. Für einen Längeren Zeitraum wäre es für mich jedoch nichts gewesen.

Je retiendrais en point positif l’amabilité et le service du personnel, bons cocktails, l’établissement est bien situé avec accès direct à la plage mais le confort des chambres est très sommaire : literie très dure, isolation inexistante malgré une clim poussive, salle d’eau minuscule (un crabe dans la cuvette des toilettes). La chambre réservée était en front de mer avec terrasse face à la mer mais nous avons été installé sur le côté, sur le passage emprunté par tous pour aller sur la plage, sans vue mer.

Very beautiful place overlooking the bay from the beach. It has a bar and breakfast, lunch and dinner service. The personnel is really nice and helpful and always wants to ensure you have a good time. Due to the hurricane there wasn’t a lot of power and from what I understand this is a common problem. We were in the room at the back. The bathroom had a really bad smell that didn’t go away and there was a cockroach in our room but if you can look through that you have a nice place right at the beach!

Having booked 4 months previously arrived to find no room available. After being put in another inferior casa for one night we were then told we had to stay there for our entire 8 day trip. After complaining we were told the room wasnt available until day 4 due to a broken toilet but were later told by other guests our room had been occupied the whole time. Compensation was free breakfast and the only saving grace was the attentions of head waiter Joel who was most helpful.
