This is a great place. The staff was very nice and helpful, also the cleanliness of the hotel was good, and it has a spa with a view of the ski slopes, this place also has a nice onsite spa, which provides a wonderful view.

I highly recommend it. My wife and I traveled from San Fransisco and met two friends from London at KHr to Val Thorens. During the 2019 christmas holidays, we spent four nights at the Albert Hotel. Just a few days before our arrival, I received an email from Maron requesting what time we would arrive and also if we wanted a cold plate if we arrived late. That was a lovely touch and sweet gesture. The hotel employees met us warmly when we arrived. The check-in procedure was swift and simple. Our rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable, with a beautiful mountain view. The toilet and shower were immaculate. We also had a lovely tiny balcony with two chairs and a table. We had dinner at the hotel two nights and dinner out the other two nights at Club 72 steakhouse and La joyous fondue. The three-course supper at the hotel did not disappoint, but my favorite was breakfast. lots of options and fresh bread. The location of the hotel was excellent, and ski to door literally to the ski locker room door was fantastic. The staff was very friendly, very engaging, and attentive. Shout out to them all, from the owners to the housekeeping crew and waiters. The last night, we changed our flight schedule, and the shuttle service we had hired couldn't accommodate to change our pickup time. When I inquire

As a young adult family, teens, and I stayed here over the New Year's week. It's a small, attractively maintained hotel on the side of the valley. The restaurant itself is excellent, it has a very French-style set menu and many days, a veggie menu with an advance request, which is all excellent quality, delicious, and exquisitely prepared. Excellent restaurants, excellent wine selection, and sufficient cuisine. Just below state, ski lockers on the right side lead directly to the paste. Couldn't be better placed. Quiet on the eve of the village and away from the crowd-filled areas that can be noisy with revelers, but only a 5 minute walk awesome small spa with a lovely sauna and jacuzzi overlooking the snow. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and they all speak excellent English, excellent value for money. Bad things about the hotel are generally modest and cramped. Though the roomy bathrooms and showers are a touch old, they function decent supper service can be slow if they are working very busy. Bring a pack of cards! The remainder of the evening was leisurely but pleasant, and it was only very awful one evening. Overall, if you want to stay in a decent hotel without having to remortgage, this is a fantastic deal and quality.

Excellent location and service at that price. It truly is ski in ski out. Everyone at the front desk and restaurant bar was fantastic and eager to assist. The set menu of two options worked well and the food was great. After a busy day on the slopes, the small spa downstairs with a sauna and hot tub was a great place to unwind. The room was comfortable and had a breathtaking panorama of the slopes. I would undoubtedly recommend it and would stay there again.

A gem! This hotel is perfect. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The cleaning crew was helpful and friendly, and our room had a balcony with views of the ski area. Everything we needed was there. Excellent ski in-ski out access! Each night's half-board supper was delicious with a variety of two dishes for each course. After a long day of skiing, the sauna and hot tub are ideal. I appreciate it very much.
