I was told this at 09.30. Finis. The room was clean but very basic. A double bed almost filled it, and there was a small bathroom with a small shower and no plug for the wash basin, but it was warm in the room as it was a cold night. It is what it is, a room for a night and ideal for workers who just need the basic, but the two staff at reception had little in the way of customer care skills. A request for scrambled eggs was met with blank look before a purchased tub of the stuff was popped in the microwave before the full block was unceremoniously dumped in the container. Sliced bread was done for the day.

We decided we needed a bed for the night after a long drive from Calais. We booked this hotel using TripAdvisor owing to the cost and its proximity to the highway. We arrived at 22.30 and checked in with ease using the check-in computer, which gave us access to the room and also the gate for secure parking. The room was very clean and the bathroom was more than adequate. Breakfast was continental as expected.
