Chateau Marquis I cannot say enough good things about this amazing medieval chateau. The fact that we slept in a room built in the 1490 s makes my mind ache! It has two window seats where archers would have kept an eye on the area, and the history of the place is just fascinating. It's a beautiful, comfortable, yet spacious bedroom with a luxury bathroom in the tower on the top of a spiral staircase. It's called the Prince Suite and highly recommend booking that room if it's available! We stayed for two nights and it was incredible and we didn't want to leave. Weve been following the lovely owners, lee belinda, on their chateau marquis Youtube channel for the past year. They were as charming, funny, and knowledgable about the history of their chateau and the surrounding area as they appear to be in their videos. They were very warm and welcoming, and we loved talking to them about their wonderful history and what it's like being a British expat in France. Lee is a pretty character with a million fantastic stories. He was kind enough to give us a thorough tour of the grounds with lots of interesting historical facts too. The home-cooked meals cooked by Belinda were absolutely beautiful and so delicious worth ordering the dinner option when you book! The breakfast was excellent as lee picked up fresh bread

Chateau Marquis I can't say enough good things about this dazzling medieval chateau. I am still reeling from the fact that we slept in a room constructed in the 1490 s! It has 2 window seats where archers would have kept watch, and imagining the place's history is just fascinating. Its a beautiful, cozy, yet spacious bedroom with a luxurious bathroom, on the tower at the top of a spiral stone staircase. The Prince Suite is wonderful, and I strongly recommend booking that room if it's available! We stayed for 2 nights, and it was wonderful, and we didn't want to leave.
