We stayed as a family using female des grades as a base to explore the aubergine. We spent a very peaceful six nights and loved the peace, the food, and the helpful local advice. Highly recommended dining here if you're staying for a great value, quality home cooking and good company. We are really very amused and the emperors return. Thank you, Francoise and Philippe.4.6/527 Feb 2023

The place was spacious and relaxing for us and our hosts, Philippe and Francoise, were very kind and friendly. They served a delectable breakfast. Every night, we ate dinner with the other guests and our hosts. We have stayed at Is nearly in every part of rural France over the past 20 years, and La femme des grades is one of the finest.4.4/51 May 2023

We remained with Francois and Philippe for one week at the end of June July in the wagon des motives, where Philippe and his family renovated themselves. The wagon is fantastic, with charming opulent railway details throughout. Everything you might need is provided, including excellent cooking facilities and a powerful shower. The wagon is in a fantastic position, making it ideal for viewing a sunset from the hot tub, which is the only tool in it. The region is great, with many things to do, especially if, like us, you enjoy walking and visiting waterfalls. The cable car up plumb du canal was quick and reasonably priced, and the nearby mountains offer stunning views. The cable car was quick and reasonably priced, and we brought our dogs, and they walked for free. Jesse it anastasia Market was also a lovely morning out with lots of stalls selling local produce in a lovely little town. We found everything we needed in the nearby Alliance, another lovely village to visit, for everyday everyday items. The woman who runs the proxy shop is lovely and speaks excellent English! She can also suggest a great bottle of wine if you need it! The cheeses in the area are also well worth exploring. The bleu dauvergne was our favorite, but the goat cheese slipped in close. We had a great evening at the main house. We sat around4.4/518 Jan 2022

On our way south recently, we stayed here for the second time. It was just as lovely as the first time last year, and I would suggest it to anyone who appreciates France and French hospitality. The owners are outstanding hosts who make you feel genuinely welcomed in their lovely farmhouse, they are very kind and friendly. It is so quiet that you can sleep well, and the rooms are lovely and very comfortable. Dinner with Francoise and Philippe and their other visitors is an unforgettable experience, with delicious homecooked food and great conversation. If you are traveling south, I strongly advise driving cross country and leaving the autoroute at Mont Blanc, as the scenery is fantastic. We hope to return!.4.2/517 Mar 2022

We looked for somewhere more authentic than the typical motels on the lengthy journey to south of France. We werent let down. The house itself is a stunning stone farmhouse that is huge and full of decor such as a wall full of keys from long ago, a cows head, antique childrens clothes, and a school desk that kept our 5 year old looking in nooks and crannies around her! We arrived around 5 a.m. and were greeted warmly and shown to our room. It was sufficient big enough in the attic with a double and a single, and we assure though this was a curtain to separate the room from the bathroom but really added to the quaintness it al. The room was generally french in design, and after a 11 hour journey, we quickly settled in for a nap. Dinner was served at 8 a.m. and was really good. All the guests sat around a large table, with fire burning even in August, and enjoyed homecooked food for the evening. We had a creamy vegetable soup as a starter, and it was followed by the most delicious pork and vegetables Ive ever eaten. The cheese was also very nice, all local and wonderful. All served with lots of local wine and coffee. The meal was an extra 22 euros rp 12 for kids worth every penny. The next morning, the breakfast was lovelyPopular Facilities
