We came at 5 a. M. On Saturday. Check-in was very fast and we got our room key. Parking at the back of the hotel gave us access to the hotel and the closest toilets and free ski boot locker. Our room was on the second floor and the hotel has no lift. So taking up luggage took a few trips.. We settled into our room, had dinner, and were able to get ski passes from the tourist office across the street and ski hire equipment on the night of arrival. The room was clean and comfortable and had plenty of storage space for luggage and clothes. To and kettle with tea and coffee making equipment. We were lucky enough to have a mountain and river view. It is gorgeous. We left the following morning and the hotel is approved 150 yards from the ski lifts over the bridge. So not too far to begin your skiing.. The area has many shops for basics like milk bread if you need them. We stayed half board and breakfast was continental, hot drink machines, juices, jams, cold meats cheese, croissants bread and chocolate spread etc. I saw other people being given alternatives if they didnt want what was on the menu. The food was wonderful and had great service, so honestly don't hesitate to go half board. We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. It was very warm and comfortable. We stayed here on our way to italy and the setting was june and it was off ski season, it was very quiet and we didn't mind and actually appreciated it. We were given a room with a fantastic view of the river and mountains and we loved waking up to the sound of the river in the morning. The staff were helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. I think the views and the town are also beautiful in the winter with the snow.

The staff are very professional and attentive, especially the fondue, and they serve the best food, especially for the affordable price and quality. They provide clean rooms and a beautiful view of the river and mountains.
