Our stay here started about three days before our arrival with an email stating that the suite we had reserved was no longer available. Fine, annoying but the room we were given was going to save us money, fine. Arrived late at night and the front desk staff didn't speak very understandable spanish for two people who are not native speakers but know a lot of spanish. The best room was not good. It was plain and worn out with no noticeable 5 star amenities or even 3 star for that matter. Thankfully we were only there for a couple of nights. Due to it's atmosphere, the exterior terrace bar area is the best part of the hotel, however, as the drinks were limited, it could use more options.

The hotel is excellent in many ways. The rooms are large, tidy, and well-lit, and have tastefully designed. Many thanks to the smiling lady who mowed our room, Frederick from reception, the restaurant employees for a wonderful breakfast, and Mars. Evans, who made our stay possible and renovated our room. The weather in California is gorgeous, and this hotel made me and my husband feel very welcome and had everything they needed.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in march 2021. It is shocked that it is not listed as the number one hotel in California. I spent a good three hours in cali before arriving in California. True story. I was reading numerous reviews of a variety of hotels in California on Trip Advisor, Google. Com, and Hotels. Com. I thought this was the greatest choice at the time. I am relieved to inform you that my decision was correct! Positives 1. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. They were wonderful to me throughout my four-day stay. I have no words to express my gratitude. However, while checking out, the girl who checked me in also checked me out, looking a little bit hostile. What I did to invite her fury is a really strong sentiment. I love that they offer seats to sit down while checking in and out, something that is seldom seen in hotels anywhere in the world. The bed was quite comfy. Mattress is very comfy and the room looks clean, etc. There are many plug connections close to the bed. This hotel has the greatest breakfast. They didnt offer a standard breakfast, but they provided a water faucet with a pipe and breakfast that suited all tastes and preferences. The hotel is in a fantastic location because it has a great position to clean oneself. There arent many hotels that offer free water bottles all the time. In 20
