We had a pleasant stay arranged by a travel agency. The ownermanager met us and helped with dinner recommendations as we didnt cook. It was walking distance to the hotel on the lake where we had a fantastic dinner. The packaged breakfast in the refrigerator. Very good one of the better breakfasts we had in iceland theyre almost all cold continental breakfasts.

I will highly recommend Olga Guesthouse! I spent one night here hoping to see the northern lights. As we were checking in, the proprietor informed us, and despite the fact that all the necessary information was already in the rooms' booklets, he gave us suggestions for places to camp to see. Although the guesthouse was full, we were able to sit together to make dinner even though we ate in one of our rooms because other people were eager to cook. The room can fit a limited number of guests, and each room has a kettle, fridge, table, and chairs. The guesthouse is spotless, and visitors are urged to remove their shoes in front, keeping the place clean.

I had never stayed in a guesthouse before. That was a great experience. We had a dinner together and were able to bond. Cozy and secure. Excellent location to stay if you come close to the small town of Egilsstadir.

It was as comfortable inside as it appeared from the outside. This place has a diverse selection. I have a bias, namely that I am from British Columbia and accustomed to forests. I was taken aback by the surrounding trees, both deciduous and conifer, after days of rock and lava that were both appealing in their own ways. I was at ease again being encircled among trees taller than me. I took a late afternoon stroll through egilstaddir and was at home in a wellkept region with friendly neighbors and lovely architecture. The guest house itself is gemutlich, which means pleasant and cheerful, especially by the hostess who gave us a warm welcome after a long drive. It looked both comfortable inside and out. The rooms are various in size. We had two rooms here, both pleasant, tidy, and well-equipped with a small refrigerator, table, and whatever else you might require but not cramped. The bathroom is accessible to visitors' use, as well as the kitchenette. Several towels and bathrobes are supplied in the communal kitchen. You may order breakfasts left in the fridge with your room number so you can get them the following morning. There is a ton of variety and quantity. We had stayed in some excellent hotels that were really well equipped and more costly. From my perspective, this was a calm
