The family suite was excellent. We had a wonderful view of Marseille from our terrace and lots of room for everyone to do their own thing. The staff were very friendly and upon check in the gentleman offered to carry the large suitcase up the flights of stairs to our room. The location was right across from the train station and within a 20 minute walk of the old port.

Our apartment was perfect for our needs. Check-in at the hotel next door was a breeze, and the staff was excellent. They even offered free espresso from their machine in the hotel lobby even though we were staying at an apartment next door. The location of this property merits ten stars. It is essentially across the street from the Marseille St. Charles Train Station, which makes Marseille the perfect "base city" for travelers using a Eurail Pass. We stayed four days at the apartment and took two separate day trips--one to Arles and another to Avignon. From the apartment, we walked to the old town, the incredible historic wharf, and even to Notre-Dame de la Garde (although that is quite a hike for anyone at any age). Our apartment overlooked a large tree-filled square at the foot of the train station and was just a few blocks away from a nice little grocery store where we purchased breakfast items and also some items for a few dinners (we like to have our main meal at a nice restaurant for a leisurely lunch with a bottle of wine). The apartment had a nice sized living room with a kitchen and eating bar, a comfy bedroom, and a two-room bathroom with the toilet in a separate room across the hall from the room with the bathroom sink and a huge shower stall. Ample fluffy towels were provided and were easy to keep dry with the towel warmer. Also, the shower was by far the best shower in any of the hotels and apartments we stayed at during a three week trip in Europe.

Very nice room - we ended up in the rooftop room, which has a great little terrace. To keep in mind, there is no elevator and up to four flights of stairs. We could have had access to spa and there’s a nice lobby with free coffee. Very close to train station.

Good layout in apartment. Sofa bed was very comfortable. Shower was amazing. Very close to the train station which was great. Delicious bakery just a few steps from the door and a good City Carrefour not too far which was ideal.

Das Hotelpersonal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Vor allem Victoria, die ausgezeichnet deutsch spricht, hat uns immer freundlich empfangen und es ermöglicht, dass wir während der EM Fußball im Pay-TV schauen konnten. Top Service - nochmals herzlichen Dank dafür!!! Die Umgebung gegenüber des Bahnhofs ist zwar nicht die schönste und durch die Hauptverkehrsstraße laut (bei geschlossenem Fenster kein Problem), für uns war es aber optimal, da wir ganz unkompliziert Ausflüge nach Arles, Cassis etc. mit dem Zug unternehmen konnten. Die Lofts, Empfang, Lounge, Terrasse sind sehr geschmackvoll, modern mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Absolute Empfehlung, wenn man nicht nur Marseille, sondern auch die Umgebung mit dem Zug erkunden will (5 Gehminuten zum Zug Metro). Zum alten Hafen ca. 15 Gehminuten.
