Possibly because we were arriving late, the lake view was created by the wonderful sunsets. The service was nice, especially the dinner and wine. We were not too upset because of the stressful situation, but we don't have any urge to get too late. I will definitely stay here again.

This place is worth it to stay. We stayed here for 2 nights on a summer trip. We have had several delicious meals here over the years but never stay. The room we are given is comfortable and spacious and has a nice lake view. Bathroom is small but very clean and leaky shower cubicle. Staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast is the usual German buffet, the only problem is the warm coffee that comes from a machine.

It is very disappointing to rent a room in such a condition. The bed and the cleanliness of the room are good. But the dirty, filthy window, and the smudges from the painters, despite the fact that it may require only a quick elbow grease and a fresh coat of paint. And then, this incredible open area with the picturesque lake in the center of the place is so impressive.

The hotel is conveniently situated between the small center of a small nice town, a lovely church, and a view of a peaceful lake. The staff is very nice, the rooms are very classic but comfortable and little intentions such as chocolate and fruit when we arrived were appreciated. The restaurant is good with local specialties. Very small spa below the hotel which is nice when it is cold outside small but nice sauna. Nice breakfast buffet. The rooms over the lake are very nice and quiet even when a christmas market was going on the central plaza in front of the hotel, very nice atmosphere.

We opted to remain at the hotel chief for a fortnight because we had read some favorable reports, and we were not all too let down overall. We were lucky enough to have parking in a limited parking lot in front of the hotel, and the receptionist gave us an efficient but lukewarm greeting. We were delighted with the room's size and comfy beds, though it could have used some updating, particularly with the windows and radiators. The bathroom was also bright and spacious, albeit the two separate hot and cold water faucets, to put it mildly. Breakfast was served in a lovely traditional room overlooking the lake, but the coffee machine appeared to dominate the proceedings, sprinkling and spitting, yet producing somewhat tainted milky coffee. Three mornings, the waiter was incredibly friendly and upbeat. Three evenings, we chose to eat dinner at the hotel chief. The food was excellent without anything special, and the best meal was served on the last night, when we chose medallions of pork and fresh veggies. The staff was friendly and efficient, especially a young waiter with glasses. We enjoyed our vacation in a gorgeous part of Germany, and we were impressed with the array of activities and facilities, particularly for families who prefer a seaspout bent!.
