This was a perfect stay for my wife and I (Dec. 31, 2025 - Jan. 4, 2026). The owner / manager was very friendly and very responsive to our needs. They made us feel comfortable and welcome. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and they cleaned / tidied the room daily. The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the center of Athens— the Arcopolis, the Areopagus, and the ancient Roman and Greek Agoras were a very short walk, so was the metro station. And there were tons of wonderful restaurants, shops and museums literally right outside the door. We would definitely stay there again.

I really recommend this place. Great place to stay in the heart of Athens tourist area. Quaint old building has been redone to be a beautiful place to stay surrounded by taverns, flea markets and ruins of Athens. The rooms are beautiful with ornate high ceilings, comfy bed, beautiful stone walls, beautiful bathroom, fridge and kettle, access to netflix and great AC unit to keep you cool on those hot athens days out exploring. The family owned tavern is located next to and downstairs from the rooms. They offer excellent Greek food and drinks at a reasonable price. Saturday night they had traditional Greek live music to enjoy while eating and drinking.

Very peaceful place and the hotel's location in the center is good. Then we have a beautiful and friendly staff and a great restaurant downstairs. After that, they provide excellent service and a friendly atmosphere.

People made to work in tourism! The apartments are fully equipped with air conditioning and the room on the top has a nice view. Maria and same are great local advisers and take care of all details. We felt at home and just can say thanks for the greek experience. They manage the restaurant on the lower floor, and the greek food is one of the best we try.

This is a quaint hotel, full of atmosphere but also full of stairs. No problems for young backpackers, but an octogenarian with suitcases, not so good. The hotel is in a walking only section, so I had to be dropped off a couple of blocks from the hotel. Suitcases roll well on smooth airport floors, but not on cobblestones! Once I found the hotel, they could not have been nicer. Help with bags etc. the owner even changed my room, so that I did not have to claim to the third floor. When leaving, my bags were taken to my pick-up point for me. Staff lovely and helpful, location convenient. Just the stairs!!!
