About Matala Dimitris Resort
Dimitris Resort Hotel (former Dimitris Villa Hotel) is located in Matala, in the southern part of the island of Crete. Dimitris Resort Hotel consists of 13 rooms, which offer you the comfort you need in order to have unforgettable holidays in Matala.
Our 13 rooms are situated in the first building of our complex, just opposite the swimming pool. They are equipped with private bathroom, balcony or terrace, air condition, central heating, refrigerator, satellite TV and safe. The 7 rooms in the second building of Dimitris Resort Hotel are equipped with private bathroom, air-condition, refrigerator and balcony.
The two swimming pools (one for adults and one for children), as well as the large terrace with the sunbeds and the pool umbrellas, are free of charge to our guests.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
By the swimming pool, you will find our hotel restaurant, surrounded by a spectacular garden with beautiful flowers and a pleasant atmosphere. You can enjoy your breakfast or a delicious Cretan meal!
The dinner menu in our restaurant is based on Cretan, as well as on Mediterranean cuisine. For our dishes we only use local ingredients.
The beautiful sandy beach with the crystal clear, deep blue sea, combined with the artificial small caves that are carved in the rocks, is what gives the beach of Matala its unique beauty. The beach is located only 200 meters away from our complex.
The word “philoxenia” (Greek word for hospitality) is highly valued in our language, as it has always been cultural heritage and one of the most precious virtues we inherited from our ancient Greek ancestors and the Cretan culture.
We offer it lavishly to our guests, while they are staying in our rooms.
Barbeque night's
Once a week, in Dimitris Resort Hotel we organize a barbeque night for all our guests. During the event, we offer grilled meat, various appetizers, salads and white or red wine. The meat we cook is from our privately owned butcher shop in Moires.
