Positive: Breakfast: We absolutely loved it! Huge selection, typical fresh Greek bread, and incredibly delicious, aromatic olive oil. Location: Perfect! The beautiful Old Town is within walking distance. Regarding the busy road nearby: it is a bit loud and you can hear the traffic, but it didn't bother us at all and was absolutely bearable. AC & Cleanliness: The AC works perfectly and is easy to use. Both the room and bathroom were spotless; daily cleaning. Service: Free beach towels on request. The staff and the cleaning lady were incredibly friendly and dedicated. Parking: 3 spots available (must reserve in advance!). The driveway is narrow (2.32m), but manageable with a little skill. A VW Taigo fits through fine. Neutral/Negative: The room and the bathroom were a bit small and tight. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear noises from the hallway (standard for most hotels, though). Suggestions: We would appreciate more hooks or options to hang up wet swimwear/clothes. Conclusion: A wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

Hotel Staff all very friendly and helpful Breakfast was perfect, nothing really that was missing. Rooms cleaned well every day, AC worked well. Location perfect, short walk to the harbour and bus station. Nothing to complain about, fantastic hotel and within a very reasonable budget. Thanks for the stay!

We had a very pleasant stay at Morum City Hotel in Chania. The breakfast was a highlight, with a good mix of local specialties and familiar staples, including hot options and a quality coffee machine. The buffet was well organized, the seating area was comfortable, and staff were quick to clear tables and keep everything tidy. Our room was comfortable and a good size for our needs. The shower was excellent, and we enjoyed having a balcony with views of the surrounding mountains. The balcony was also useful for drying laundry. Having a nice little fridge in the room was another nice convenience. The street outside was undergoing some construction during our stay, but we were told this is normal for this time of year. While there may have been some daytime noise while we were out and about, it was on a side street and did not really impact our experience. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay. They assisted us with the air conditioning settings we couldn’t figure out, arranged a taxi for our 5:00 a.m. departure, and even prepared a breakfast bag for us to take on the go. Overall, this was a solid hotel experience with friendly service, good amenities, and no overall complaints. We would happily stay here again.

Breakfast was excellent every day of our 5 day stay. It was the cleanest hotel room we have seen. All the staff were helpful during our stay. Thalia was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time with us making reservations, giving directions and advice. She arranged for a car rental for us that was much cheaper than airport rates and they delivered the car to us at the hotel. We kept it during our whole remaining stay in Crete. We were very happy with Thalia’s suggestions. We took the airport bus to the main Chania bus station which is only a two blocks from the hotel. We liked the hotel so much we even extended our stay by another day. Excellent place to stay in Chania!!!

First of all the rooms are a good size if you compare it to European size hotels. This is not North America so don’t expect that. The rooms are modern, clean, and well appointed. The rooms do appear as stated on the website. Excellent location close to the old town and Chania harbor. It’s all walking distance. If you’re looking for a beach stay, then this is probably not the place for you. The staff are extremely kind and hospitable, and the breakfast changes on a daily basis. Excellent value all things considered. Lots of supermarkets close by in case you need anything. Highly recommend staying here in Chania!

What a fantastic hotel in a great location, within walking distance of Chania Harbour, The Old Town, Shops, Restraunts & the Market too! Our room on the top floor was immaculately clean, thoughtfully laid out, had a comfortable bed, large Shower room, balcony & Superb Sun Lounge area to boot! The cleaning staff did a fabulous job of ensuring everything was clean & the room was made up each day, whilst the kitchen staff laid out a wonderful, great value, buffet style, breakfast each morning. The Reception Staff were helpful & friendly & ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. Samantha in particular went out of her way to recommend places to eat, which really helped us to choose from dozens of Cafes, Restaurants & eateries to enjoy Chania's culinary delights! We really couldn't have chosen a better hotel, thank you everyone at Morum City Hotel for making our stay so wonderful & memorable! 5*s!!

Had the most wonderful, convenient solo birthday trip during my stay. The location is so perfect; the charming streets of Chania are right outside your doorstep, close to beaches too. Really great its’ near the KTEL bus station which is so handy for transport to activities, beaches or the airport! The biggest shoutout and special thanks to Thaila on reception, she had such a wonderful energy and really helped me have a special day on my birthday; going as far as to treat me to a cake which was the loveliest surprise in my room. All the other staff were really friendly too. The breakfast is unreal, so delicious! Menu items were are really good prices though I didn’t try these. Room was really clean. The meeting room is lovely, and so is the gym I ran a couple times and did yoga. Really quite and peaceful. On my last day the hotel were kind enough to let me store my luggage there due to my late flight, and they even went as far as directing me to a hotel around the corner where I could shower at no cost! Definitely returning here!
