Jättebra och trivsamt hotell! Hjälpsam och vänlig personal, bra rum med kylskåp och härlig balkong. Frukosten är suverän med underbar utsikt från roof-top. Poolen är stor och välskött med fräscha solstolar. Läget är perfekt, bara minuter från sandstrand. Enda lilla minus är att gatan förbi hotellet är ganska starkt trafikerad men inga störningar alls inomhus. Vi återkommer gärna och rekommenderar varmt hotellet!

Pros: Fabulous outlook on the top floor for breakfast and great view from the pool both over the small bay/harbour area out to sea. Pool never busy during our stay (September) Very clean, spacious room 311, triple (partial sea view, though this was only when at the edge of the balcony. ) Friendly and helpful staff, happy to pre-book taxi or help arrange excursions. Very handy for the very frequent local bus. (Tickets are cheaper from the little kiosk or mini market on the way to Kalamaki bus stop. Buy in bulk and go to the closer bus stop if strolling really isn't your thing.) Very quiet overnight. Air con worked well, around 33c outside, room kept at 23 was very comfortable and the air con was quiet. (It was noiser if trying to get to 16c but that was impossibly cool and not comfortable to live in!) Small selection of restaurants nearby. Easy walk this beach. Cons: it's on the coast road so there's a measure of traffic noise at the pool. Breakfast was basic, ample but well short of amazing. (Ham and orange drink of low quality, not sure if the bacon was real, plenty of egg and cake options) It's 3 miles outside Chania centre, this might not suit everyone. Summary, I'd come again.

Hotelli oli kodikas, siisti ja aamiainen todella hyvä ja uniikki. Hotellin kaikki työntekijät olivat kilttejä ja hotelli on lapsi ystävällinen! Bussi pysäkki on Ihan hotellin vieressä Ja se meni suoraan vanhaan kaupunkiin joten oli loistava kulku yhteys. Kauniit maisemat Ja hyvät ravintolat lähellä

Un hôtel agréable. Belle piscine. Belle vue sur la mer. Belles chambres. Il y a des chambres en semi sous sol. Notre avis porte sur celle du 1er étage. On avait vue sur la colline et c était très calme. Les chambres avec vue mer doivent être un peu plus bruyantes car il y a une rue passante comme dans toutes les zones touristiques. Mais cela reste acceptable. Personnel très agréable. Le petit bémol est qu on est à 5 km de hania donc le bus est incontournables Petit déjeuner simple mais correct

Hotelli oli todella siisti. Uima-allas puhdas ja mukava ja aurinkotuoleja riittävästi. Aamupalapaikka merinäköalalla kiva. Huoneissa tosi tehokas ilmalämpöpumppu. Hikoilla ei tarvinnut. Lähellä ihan parhaita ruokapaikkoja ja mukavia rantabaareja. Viihdyimme kaikki.

We loved the location of the hotel, very close to Chania, great restaurants nearby. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace with a view to the sea is absolutely lovely, great food choices. Beds are comfortable, staff is very friendly, kind and professional. Very clean and well maintained hotel. We loved our stay at Porto Alegre!

We absolutely *LOVED* our time at Porto Alegre. We were here for about 10 days--the first week was for work and the second half was for fun. The staff are all so friendly, we loved interacting with Aristea, she was so kind and so helpful. She helped us book a car (which was cheaper and better than the rental agencies down the street). She helped us book a tour to the Samaria Gorge (which was also cheaper than had we booked it online). The property is beautiful, and the view from the (free) breakfast hall is serene. There are several beaches just walking distance away. If you walk just past Iguana's Beach to the next cove, there is a little sea cave you can swim to or walk to and explore. The local restaurants are very friendly, too. We stayed in a Triple bedroom with sea view and it was very spacious with a kitchenette if you want to eat in. We sometimes ate at the bar downstairs for a snack, where the staff made simple sandwiches. We enjoyed conversing with the staff and learning more about Chania and their lives as well. The pool is beautiful with a view of the sea across the road. The place is just an hour's drive from Balos and about an hour and twenty minutes from Elafonisi. We liked that it was away from the bustle of the center of Chania, but still close enough for a 10 euro cab drive into town. We can't recommend Porto Alegre enough, we really didn't want to leave our magical time in Chania. Highly recommend!

We spend 3 days in this hotel and loved it. The room was clean room service was awesome (we had money all over the place in the room and not a single penny was missing). The hotel has a really nice pool that unfortunately didnt get the chance to swim in...we were gonne the whole day and when we would arrive at the hotel from our trips we were too tired lol. Breakfast is delicious and has a lot of diversity. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Great stay

Top! Chambre calme, propre et spacieuse. Piscine propre avec vue sur la mer. Certes l route passe entre les deux mais idéal pour commencer une semaine de vacances. Parking gratuit: ideal si vous avez une voiture. Petit déjeuner: sur le toit, top. En conclusion: je recommande si vous êtes vehiculé, surtout si vous voulez visiter la canée sans être noyé dans les milliers de touristes

Oppholdet på hotellet var meget bra. Rengjøring var over all forventing, de vasket rommet hver dag og vi fikk nye håndduker hver dag. De lånte ut basseng/strand håndduker som vi fikk byttet når vi ønsket. Det var gratis. Betjeningen var hyggelig og veldig service innstilt. Frokosten var enkel, men den var god. Vi følte oss velkommen .
