great hotel, rooms are only actual blackout curtains we encountered on our trip. Property feels 5 star, staffing makes it 4 star due to lack of attention to detail and making people feel welcomed. We ended up adding an extra day and cancelled another hotel we had reserved, Hot tubs were great as well but could have been warmer, sauna has a view of the glacier, and a natural cold plunge below.

Amazing location. Super close to Vatnajokül glacier lagoon. Amazing breakfast. Bathrooms were bigger than all other hotels we stayed at. Shower area was contained within an enclosure. Only design flaw: the glass plate placed before the mirror to hold your toiletry items comes in the way if you bend down above the vanity sink to wash your face.

Great option in the Glacier Lagoon area. This property is relatively new and very modern. The restaurant and bar are very good, and the views are great. We thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay.

Tremendously tranquil and beautiful setting near diamond beach and numerous lagoon features. Clean, spacious rooms and helpful and friendly staff. Hot tubs, sauna, and cold plunge lagoon are great features at end of day. Highly recommend.

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere but a good place to stay if seeing the ring road with glacier lagoon as your last stop for the day. The rooms were spacious as was the bathroom and shower. The dining facilities were excellent for both dinner and breakfast. They had 3 hot tubs and a steam shower that was used by a lot of guests. High recommend this hotel.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! Comfortable and spacious with the decor reflecting and complimenting the nature outside. Staff are warm and welcoming. Food in the restaurant is lovely and the breakfast is delicious! Hot tubs outside are a relaxing place to unwind after a busy day of sight seeing. Will definitely stay here again.

The Glacier lagoon hotel has got all the bells and whistles of a luxury hotel with gorgeous views and friendly staff. The hot tub with mountain views is indeed the highlight. The restaurant had a good breakfast spread and dinner menu had vegetarian options as well. We loved the stay and would highly recommend.

This hotel was fabulous. The family room was a great size and had a great layout. The hot tubs were so nice. I recommend checking in early if you can and heading there immediately. The hot tubs got busy around 5/6pm. The restaurant was also very good.

Amazing stay! The location is superb with the lagoon and beach just 10 minutes away. The hotel has great amenities like the restaurant being open atleast till 10:30 pm, the hotel tub with glacier view, spa, breakfast and parking. The room was really good. It was finally a good sized room where you have not just a king bed, but ample storage, a long seating chair, another one person chair and table with beautiful views giving it a luxury feeling.

Great location. Hot tubs were really nice and had a great view. Nice coffee machine in the room. Comfy beds. Expensive because we booked last minute during prime season. But I would stay here again. There was also a wellness room and sauna but we didn’t have time to check it out. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but they push quite hard for you to make a reservation there.

We wish we had more time to stay at this property during our trek around Iceland's Ring Road. The accommodations were beautiful, staff were super friendly and helpful, the restaurant was one of the best meals we had during our 2-week trip, and the hot tubs overlooking the beautiful landscape were an extremely nice touch. We will definitely stay again if we find ourselves back in Iceland in the future!
