We had a great time at alam grigis. Wayan is a wonderful host who has assisted us in every way. We had a view of the jungle from the room, which is roomy. Their massage service was excellent and soothing. Every day, the room was cleaned, and it was done almost right away whenever we needed anything more. For those visiting bali for the first time and moving from a new, recently renovated apartment, this guest house may not seem pleasant at first glance, but it has many advantages, such as a spacious balcony where you can enjoy yoga in the morning, a private kitchen in the process, a quiet pool, and a spacious room overlooking rice fields. The rooms are cleaned once a week, and the linen is changed once a week. It could be more often, but you have to clean yourself occasionally. I gave the guest house a star, but i gave it a minus, because i became close friends with the owners family. What is filthy for a european is clean for them, but if you politely tell them what you want to fix, they will gladly do so. Peace for everyone.4.6/516 Jul 2024

Nice place to stay. Beautiful view of the forest and rice fields from the room. Nice balcony to relax on which is generally very quiet except for the sounds of nature. Friendly staff, although it was a bit difficult to get in touch with them on my first night there. Overall, it was a really pleasant stay here! Wayan, the owner, is really friendly and you can ask her anything! The drive to alam grigis between the rice fields is stunning! The room was very nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable with nightstands on either side and two small lamps. A large closet to put your clothes in. The bathroom has a large warm shower. The property is a hidden gem! It is in a quiet area but close enough to ubud. The rooms are super spacious, clean and very nice, with beautiful views and a very cute swimming pool! The best part is the owner, she is very attentive, helpful and kind, has gone above and beyond with our requests and you can see she truly wants to make sure all her guests are happy, and we were definitely very happy! Overall, we would highly recommend this place for ubud! We had a great time staying here, it was a good price, a spacious room with a simple kitchen for a quick meal. With views of the jungle and noisefree at night! Ms. Wayan also took excellent care of us during our stay! Shes so sweet! We cant express our gratitude enough! They also rent scooters at reasonable prices! The only downside is that the wifi cannot reach the balcony, but since we have 4g, this isnt an issue. And the bed was a bit hard for us.Location
