Harganya murah, pemilik ramah, kamar cukup luas. Ada taman yang luas di halaman dan kolam ikan. Sebagian besar tamu di sini adalah turis asing.

The garden and front porches are really lovely. Breakfast is included. But the walk to the center takes 30 minutes. If you have trouble falling asleep, the dog will keep you up all night. That or the neverending garden cleaning done by the staff early in the morning.

The host was incredibly kind and understanding when we arrived late! The setting is stunning! Every day, they clean our rooms, and the breakfast is delicious! I also learned that one of the first homestays in ubud was run by the wellknown balinese artist, ketut madra. His son is currently showing us his stunning painting in the house gallery! We are grateful for such positive vibrations!.

I would definitely recommend it and will definitely be returning here if i return to ubud. The hosts are fantastic and extremely friendly! I originally booked for 5 nights, stayed for 7 nights, and then returned for another 5. The hosts are so welcoming and make it feel like home for me.

I stayed there for 2 nights. This accommodation has a nice relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by trees. The garden is amazing and the private terrace is nice. The hosts are kind and very welcoming. Thank you!.

I have been staying at the Ketut madra homestay when i visit bali since 1987! The place is lovely and quiet, and i dont see it on this thread of reviews, so i will mention it here. This homestay, and its owner, pak Ketut madra, have been at the center of artistic and cultural dialogue for decades. Students in art and music would stay at madra homestay for months. There is a rich history here. Ketut madra is a renowned painter and an excellent topeng dancer and musician. When you visit, look at his gallery and if you have the chance, check out the performance groups he is part of in peliatan. These groups prioritize skill and presence. Ketuts son made lives nearby with his family. Not only can he help you with any practicalities about your stay, but made has a wealth of knowledge about balinese culture, history, and arts. I believe he even has a degree in this area. This is affordable accommodation in peliatian, near ubud, and it is much more than that. This is a very pleasant place to stay. One of the cheapest options ive found in ubud. Rooms with private bathrooms with hot showers, fans, free breakfast, terrace, and garden. Very quiet and relaxing. The owners are very nice. Small drawbacks there is no common area with tea or coffee, you have to ask for a kettle to boil some water, internet is not very good, dog barks at everything that moves.

Pengalaman luar biasa di sudut kecil surga ini di tengah hiruk pikuk Ubud. Pemiliknya sangat baik dan membantu, memberi kami banyak saran berguna tentang menyewa skuter, taksi, warung, dll. Rumah-rumahnya sederhana sesuai dengan harga yang harus dibayar, sangat bersih dan dikelilingi oleh taman kecil yang menciptakan suasana yang istimewa. Sarapan sangat enak. Lokasi 2 km dari pusat kota, memungkinkan Anda melihat sisi Ubud yang kurang terinternasionalisasi dan di luar pusat kota. Sangat direkomendasikan!

The owner of this place is a family who is very kind and helpful. On the last day, we had to leave early and the host woke up earlier to make us breakfast. I highly recommend staying here.

The owner of this homestay provides a wonderful experience. Each morning, the owner gave me a ride on his scooter to get a quick dinner on my first night, and human brought breakfast and nice coffee. You can see the attention to detail and care they pay to the property, particularly the gorgeous garden. Yet, it is so near to busy Bud that it feels very calm, peaceful, and restful for the price. It's in a fantastic location. Although it was occasionally a little spotty, we did get hot water every day, and there were some areas of the building that could use some updating, especially the bathroom. But we would return and had a great time there.
