This hotel provides great value considering the location and the amiable and communicative staff. This is a great choice for those looking to spend a few days in Venice on a budget. The hotel is centrally located and very close to Santa Maria Novella station making it very accessible and great for day trips outside the city. Our room was clean and had basic amenities, but it was also a little confined and not as spacious as it appeared on the listing.

The old inn is very well located near the train station. Nearby all the sights. The inn has quaint rooms and fridges as well as things for a quick breakfast. A pleasant stay and a balcony to enjoy the city life below.

First, the hospitality of signore florin is what makes this place great. He has a very accommodating personality and will go out of his way for you. The location is right next to the train station. There are several bars, restaurants and nightclubs within walking distance. The dome is just down the street. Breakfast is already in the room with coffee, tea, cappuccino, a variety of pastries, croissants, toast and cheese. I tried almost everything and it was all good. Florin also has a wonderful Lavazza machine in his lobby. There is also a minibar if you want an extra soft drink or beer with a freezer that works. If you need parking, there is a garage nearby with great service for about 27 euros. You will need to keep your keys as there are three keys to enter and exit the place. There is also a lift, but it's very small. If you're in Florence, I would highly recommend this location.

It was an enjoyable stay here. The host was extremely helpful in organizing our luggage, and he also gave us advice on how to ship some of our souvenirs home. The room was really comfy, the shower was the best we had in all of Italy, and the location was ideal. Being close to the train station was very useful for us since we backpacked through Italy and had a lot of luggage. We heartily suggest this place.

The location is great overall. Everything is within walking distance, and there are excellent eateries and the mercato central market around the corner. While exploring Florenz, we spent some nights here. It may seem a little difficult to locate at first, but the location is just a 4-minute walk from the main train station, making it extremely convenient. Florin, our host, was a lovely and warm man who quickly put us at ease. The rooms are tidy and clean, though some aspects, especially the small showers, are a little worn out. Despite the location's charm, this didn't seem like a problem. To be honest, breakfast is a little space and, each evening for the following day, is served on a tray in your room. I'd advise you to grab this and eat a nicer meal anywhere outside of Florence. In a few areas, the lift is small and only holds two suitcases at a time, so be prepared to wait or haul them up two flights of stairs. It is within walking distance of everything important, and there are great restaurants and the Mercato central market just around the corner.
