The hotel is very comfortable and beautiful. The room and bath were very well furnished. The room has a balcony with incredible Mali views. The owner Gianfranco is very friendly, kind, provides a lot of advice and helps in everything. I highly recommend this hotel to stay... Gianfranco

I highly suggest Casa Mao if you are in Mali. My friend and I stayed here during a trip of two nights on the Mali coast last summer. The hotel has a great view of Mali, which we enjoyed while eating breakfast on the terrace. Gianfranco is a great host and great guy. Very nice and always give advice on what to do in Mali and nearby.

The host gianfranco was breathless, he didn't tell us when breakfast was, instead he asked us what time we wanted breakfast. The panoramic views from the rooftop are incredible. We reserved a one-bedroom, with two private balconies. This is the place to go if you want to experience mali.

I would stay here again, but the ac was disappointing. The room was very spacious, and I like the two decks. The owner was very helpful with all our needs and even made us dinner reservations. He served as a concierge and carried our luggage when we arrived. We felt very comfortable asking the owner anything and he gave us many good ideas for activities and places to eat. He also arranged our pick-up from the airport in Rome. He asked a professional colleague, which was a great relief. He paid 300 euros which is 150 to 200 less from the application. Thank you. Cons underpowered air conditioning and no fans. When we left the room, the room was hot and it would take a while to cool down. There are many steps, but you are on the Mali Coast so expect it, but the position had much more. We enjoyed it because we were prepared for the steps before our arrival, so it was all good!.

Originally booked two rooms for 2 nights. We were a family with teenage sons. Both rooms were very spacious and comfortable with great bathrooms. The view from the balcony at breakfast is beautiful. The host G.G. Franco was very helpful in recommending restaurants and was a really nice person. We loved it and could have stayed longer. The only thing to be mindful of is that you must be able to walk up the stairs from the main square to reach the lodging. It wasn't a problem for us, but it might not suit everyone.
