Per vivere Bologna come un universitario, questa piccola struttura è come un appartamento condiviso gestito con amore e passione dai tenet. Questa è la seconda volta che veniamo, ma avremmo soggiornato anche altre volte se fosse stato disponibile perché è una bellissima esperienza (e un'ottima struttura!). Questa volta abbiamo optato per la camera privata con bagno in comune - invece del bagno in camera - ma comunque si trova appena fuori dalla porta della camera, quindi è stato comodissimo. Come sempre la colazione nella cucina con il lungo tavolo in condivisione è un bellissimo momento per scambiare qualche chiacchiera con gli altri ospiti. Non c'è molta varietà nella colazione, ma è superiore a quello che gli ostelli solitamente offrono, salvo qualche eccezione che ci è capitata nei nostri viaggi. La posizione è molto centrale, si arriva a piedi dalla stazione dei treni passando per la piazza del mercato del sabato e a pochi passi dal resto del centro della città, in pratica non serve mai prendere i mezzi pubblici se resti in centro!

Good hostel. Location was about 10-15 minute walk from what would be considered the centre (Piazza Maggiore) and on quite a busy street - not reflected in the noise levels though. I think having physical, metal keys added to the noise because people were banging them on the door when trying to open it etc. other than that, noise levels were good. Good bathroom amenities in all 3 spaces. It was a good place to stay as a solo traveller - it felt safe. I didn’t have the breakfast but to be included and such a good mix was good.

Ho recentemente soggiornato all'ostello Dopa e devo dire che la struttura è accogliente, pulita e ben organizzata. Nelle stanze condivisi i letti sono all'interno di "cabine" con tendine per la privacy. Gli armadietti si chiudono a chiave e sono dotati di presa interna per lasciare in carica i dispositivi personali. Altre prese anche vicino ai singoli letti, dotati di lampada personale per la notte. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile. La zona comune è carina: sala relax, cucina con frigo, bagni e docce spaziose. Inoltre la colazione inclusa, semplice, è un valore aggiunto. Consiglio questo ostello a chi è in cerca di un buon soggiorno.

Very nice hostel, exceptionally clean. I do like when bathrooms are separate from the rooms. The toilets are very clean and nice water pressure, feels like a home. Staff is very attentive. Only stayed one night, but it was a good experience. Rooms were nice and facilities had a good vibe. Breakfast is simple but nice. The only issue is that they had no parking support, as advertised on the hostel profile. Parked at the train station and walked, which is not close but worked.

I liked the vibe of the hostel. Very wondefully designed and it encourages people to socialize. The bunk beds don't make noise when you move through them. The hostel is clean, the showers and bathrooms are nice, and, staff is helpful, and there are activites scheduled everyday to entertain the travelers! Keep note that while the maps location of the hostel is accurate, there is no sign at all that exposes the hostel's location. Only a small label at the building directory will tell you you are in the right place. The hostel is in the 1st floor (2nd floor for Americans, Italy has a zero floor!)

I loved staying here. It's in the center of the city so super convenient, the people that work here are very friendly and helpful, all the rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily, and it has a really cozy vibe, like staying in a friend's apartment.
