We visited the Castillo for a day and a night, and we really appreciated its tranquility. There are other attractions nearby, but you might want to go and get a good vibes by wandering around and relaxing in the garden. We were spoiled in the evening by alessio and his crew with regional wines and culinary delights from the restaurant. The accommodations are big and well maintained, so you can spend the night like royalty. The amazing attendance and service provided by alessio, who looked after the castle during our stay, deserves special recognition.

It makes a good short excursion if La Forester is around 30 minutes from the center of Turin. It was very comfortable with a gorgeous view down to the mountains. The hotel's charm transported us back in time. We ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant. It was okay. Dinner wasn't up to the hotel's standards because of the hotel's quality and care. The meal, however, was excellent. Regardless, I would recommend staying at La Forester for its cozy, relaxing, and medieval atmosphere. We stayed here one night thanks to Smartbox. The receptionist was friendly and professionally, as was the hotel manager. Our room was large and had fantastic views of the mountains. The hotel was charming, and we immediately felt transported back in time. Dinner at the hotels restaurant was good. It was decent. Given the hotel's standard of quality and care, we believed that dinner did not live up to hotel standards. I gave the hotel five stars, but the restaurant only three stars.

This is a great place to chill if you like to unwind. Everything was so kind and helpful. Our room was spacious and full of antiques. We will be back for 6 more days at the end of September 2009 because we enjoyed our first stay!

We stayed at this hotel for one night. Very nice rooms with a castle feel. However, we had a hard time finding the hotel with no signposts we expected an evening meal on arrival but were told the chef was finished but he could get something for us. Chicken roulade was provided, which we accepted. It was served with cold mashed potatoes and two small pieces of chicken. We were offered a dessert, which was indescribable. I couldn't have been happier with the service. Very poor service and a lot of money for the food. Breakfast was no better, one orange juice and 2 broken fried eggs. a plate with one piece of toast. for a so sweet hotel, it was quite embarrassing. The waiter tried his best but seemed to be in charge of the hotel and the cooks and bar work. No lunch available, I asked for a sandwich which was 2 pieces of bread with ham and cheese and no garnish. I was traveling with my husband on business and I was usually out on my own while he was at work. There was nowhere to go in the area. Thank you really I had my room as a late check out so I could stay there all day. If the grounds had more flowers and other things, it would be great.
