You cant find a better location in Florence, just minutes from shops, museums, and Ponte Vecchio. It's a bit far from transportation, but taxis were easy to get from the train station. Very nice staff to help with anything we needed during our 4-night stay. Most comfortable beds I slept in during our trip, and the rest of the room was well equipped. Breakfast was nothing special, we had it included in our rate and it was fine, but given it's 30 euros if you order a la carte, Id probably skip it. This hotel is part of the Llanarno collection, and Id highly recommend visiting the terrace rooftop bar at the Continental and cafe del Oro at the Portrait hotel, which are both part of the same collection and share a billing system.

A lovely hotel that is close to all the tourist activities in Florence. It's literally steps from the Ponte Vecchio. The breakfast buffet was new and had a fantastic range of options. It was served in a nicely furnished library with a nice atmosphere. The front desk staff was very helpful in making dinner reservations for two nights and even changing the temperature in our room. The room was fine, nothing fancy, but the bed was very comfortable.

We have never been to this hotel. We had been to this hotel six years ago and liked the location, just 12 blocks from the Ponte Vecchio. Despite the last-minute negative reviews, we decided to make another reservation at this hotel. The hotel is still beautiful, elegant, yet not pretentious, trendy, and in a great position. We did the room and breakfast. Breakfast is not very good. Mostly pastries, hard-boiled eggs, breads, fruit, and yogurt are served. The service to get coffee at your table is slow. The coffee was only warm. No warm items are offered. Nothing special. Even the pastries are neither fresh nor very delicious. The hotel service was terrible. When we spoke with the front desk about a leak in our air conditioning unit. It took several hours for someone to have it fixed. The front desk clerk was unresponsive and disheartening. The front desk clerk was unresponsive and apologetic. The front desk worker was the hotels highlight! They were all extremely pleasant and did a great job when we needed a cab.

About Gallery Art Hotel

This Florence design hotel owned by the Ferragamo Family is close to Uffizi Gallery and Piazza della Signoria. Guests will find the Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo's David, the Cathedral of Santa Maria dei Fiori, Pitti Palace, and the Bargello Museum nearby as well. Contemporary artworks and photography are exhibited in the hotel's lobby, library and bar. All the rooms are decorated in a chic, contemporary style and are furnished with modern amenities.
