We are very disappointed with our stay at Gasthof taller, we are very grateful because we were able to enjoy the meal in the hotel! The center of Bressanone Brixen is only a 15 minute walk away, but the view of vineyards and mountains is breathtaking from the gasthof, you wake up each morning to the breathtaking view of vineyards and mountains beyond. Although there are only about 10 rooms at the gasthof, each is spotless, has a balcony, a well-appointed bathroom, and is extremely comfortable. However, it is also host to one of the best restaurants in the area. The owner's son, chef simon is a fantastic chef with a reputation so that bookings are essential during the season. The town of Gasthof Taller is really a family affair, with his mother manages the hotel and his sister, Teresa, manages the dining area. There are some excellent wines from the family vineyard as well as a range of wines from the region on the wine list. We had a great time eating at the hotel because we thoroughly enjoyed the meal! When my wife assured me she would love to learn how to make dumplings, he offered us a private cooking lesson! It is located near the front door to Val Garden, possibly Italys premier hiking mountain biking capital. The tourism infrastructure is excellent, and the hotels do not

The best place in the region with chanterelles and special local bread. Risotto with lamb chops was creamy, al dente, and exquisitely seasoned, the local fish was fresh and delicate, the view over vineyards from the tresses of this beautifully restored old inn is breathtaking. Finally, the wine selection of local wines includes all regional award winning wines, some of which have received national prices, and the service is excellent. I've been visiting the region for a number of years and am somewhat astonished by the trip advisor ratings that seem to miss real quality.

I stayed here with my family on a long weekend. The location is quiet, perched on a hill overlooking broken and surrounded by vineyards. The rooms are good. What's great and I can definitely suggest is the food. If you're looking for a traditional South Tyrolean meal, come here and you won't be disappointed. Very tasty and with an excellent price and quality ration. You can dine here even if you don't stay at Gasthof.

I found this gem in Broken, looking for some sunshine. The hotel is excellent and has spacious suites that are tastefully decorated. We stayed in a balcony suite with a view of Broken City below. The view from the roof terrace is even better. In the Ao restaurant, a tasty four-course meal is served. There are many options for walking and biking in the surrounding vineyard. A place to return to!.

Mostly on our way south to traverse the destructed area, but it was a lovely stopover. This is a really good choice. There is a winery built in the hotel, which is trendy. Walking and hiking options start at the door, but it takes 15 minutes to walk to the devastated part of the city. There is also public transportation nearby. The staff is friendly. Access is quick on the motorway. A good modern local kitchen.
