Great location, room with river view was large and spacious (room 22). Stairs may be an issue, but not a dealbreaker. Monte at the front desk was the best.

The owner and staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly! One of the staff members, who has been working there for 39 years, initially greeted us, and was always warm, funny, and personable. The owner gave us daily visitor tips around Florence, and Siena and San Gimignano. These folks made the whole stay at this boutique hotel truly memorable. Highly Recommended!!

The Alessandra is very close to all the sights. The staff was very friendly. It’s located in an very old building, so you need to be able to walk 2 flights of stairs and then there is a tiny elevator that takes you to the hotel level. The breakfast was really nice and some items varied day to day(the savory item and desserts) otherwise there was proscuitto, cheese, musli, yogurt, croissants and a great coffee machine with all possible options!

Great place to stay and great location. Definitely recommend especially if you are traveling as a family. Very friendly staff. Be prepared to do some stairs as the elevator does not start on the ground floor but we were ok with this. Breakfast was good too.

had an outstanding stay at Hotel Alessandra in Florence. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready with great recommendations for restaurants, transport, and things to see around the city. The location is absolutely unbeatable—right in the heart of Florence, just steps from the river and a short walk to the Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, and all the major sights. Despite being so central, the hotel is peaceful and feels like a charming retreat from the busy streets outside. My room was spotless, comfortable, and full of character, with that classic Florentine feel you just don’t get in big chain hotels. The shower had good pressure, and everything was reasonably maintained. What really makes Hotel Alessandra special is the personal touch. The team genuinely cares about your stay and goes above and beyond to help with anything you need. It felt less like a hotel and more like staying with friends who want you to love their city. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Florence. A real gem in the centre of the city.

Staying here was a wonderful experience! Hotel Alessandra was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see in Florence, including one street away from the Ponte Vecchio. The room was always very clean and the staff was extremely welcoming and kind. We loved our stay here and would absolutely stay here on our next trip to Florence!

Room was very clean as were the premises, Staff were welcoming and friendly and eager to assist. Breakfast was good with eggs and bacon along with pastries and yogurt. Hotel is on 4th Floor so be prepared to get your leg work out in.
