Our reason for choosing the hostel was due to the private rooms. Despite the fact that the room was barely large enough to walk around in, it was nice to have a door to separate us from the rest of the hostel. The kitchen was roomy and tasteful. Additionally, a washing machine and a few bathroom areas were provided. The hostel has two issues. The location is somewhat far from Nevskiy's main drag. Google shows you a central location close to the metro station. This location is the incorrect type of address in your booking. There were issues with the hot water and shower lines. There were already lines in the shower even though we awoke at 7 or 8 in the morning, and the hot water had run out by the time we awoke every day. It appears that they do not have centrally heated water going in, rather, they are using a hot water heater that is mounted in the kitchen. If you want to know how hot your water will be, you can see the temperature displayed on the tank. The staff was experiencing issues with hot water owing to pipe repairs, but who knows how long those repairs will be or how often they occur. If they use the tank to heat all of their water, the tank isnt big enough for the number of beds they have.

This place is in a fantastic location, so I had a quiet stay here. We stayed in a private room to start the new year here. And this place is really friendly to animals, especially the sweet cat. Her name is Olivia. Take care of yourself.

I had a wonderful week in this location. I recently got back from spending more than five weeks here. Its situated on the sixth floor of an interesting old building about a fiveminute stroll from Alexander Pesky square, where metro lines 3 and 4 cross. The constantly present extremely busy staff maintains it spotlessly clean. You have to remove your shoes as soon as you enter! Excellent kitchen and even a washing machine are all included! That are free to use. Also, on the north side of Pesky Prospect next to the metro station, there is a fantastic supermarket Prima with very reasonable costs. There are no large dorms, just tiny cubicles with adequate comfy beds for one or two guests. Overall, a very clean, reasonably priced base for visiting Saint Petersburg's many attractions on a budget.
