La Terrazza del Subasio

This charming guesthouse is situated in a green natural park by the Subasio mountain, in Costa di Trex, a small village surrounded by gentle Umbrian hills. Guests will find a number of restaurants, bars and pubs in the village centre, and the nearest bus station is 4 km away in Assisi, which also offers a range of shops. The nearest train station is around 7 km away and the towns of Perugia, Gubbio and Orvieto are 25 km, 30 km and 60 km away respectively. Nature and tradition, comfort and relaxation, environment and history are the most important ingredients for a special holiday at this charming historical hotel. Built in 1700 and renovated in 2007, it comprises 4 rooms and apartments with every modern comfort, obtained from the restoration of an old country stone house which was refurbished in line with the local traditional style. Facilities offered to guests include café, breakfast room and car park. The spacious rooms feature a kitchen, living room and bedroom, appointed with taste and featuring traditional but simple furniture, thus creating a typical farmhouse feel according to ancient Umbrian traditions. All the rooms are named after evocative parts of the Monte Subasio: Gli Stazzi, La Maddalena and La Spella, and each features an en suite bathroom with shower, bathtub and hairdryer, a king-size bed, minibar/fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, individually regulated heating and a private terrace. Guests can relax using the parasols provided, enjoy a game of table tennis or go biking. An entertainment programme is organised for children and sun loungers and parasols are also provided on the nearby beach. A continental breakfast buffet is served each morning.
