Thank you for a pleasant stay. Positives: Very nice, clean hotel in the heart of the city. Negatives: not cheap, hard to find entrance, staff was helpful but their English could be better as it is a very touristy area.

We stayed there for four nights and the room was very nice, clean and had aircondition. The staff was very welcoming and ready to help if needed. The location was very close to the city center and made it easy to find. We strongly recommend staying here when you are visiting Florence.

I had a wonderful stay at Residenza Madragone in Florence! The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable — it truly felt like a home away from home. The cleaning lady / cook was phenomenal — attentive, kind, and made each day feel special. The front desk staff were very helpful and always pleasant, making check-in and daily questions a breeze. I felt incredibly safe and cozy during my stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family. I definitely plan to stay here again on my next visit. The only drawback was the main entrance, where there was a noticeable sewer and smell that should be addressed — but once inside, everything was absolutely perfect!

A perfect location for anyone travelling by train and also hoping to explore the historic core of Florence. The hotel is cozy and only has a few rooms, so there was personal attention and responsiveness to any questions. The breakfast was good and the room was tastefully decorated and clean.

Non traditional hotel. Closer to a B&B. Difficult to find. Found address ok but once there difficult to find check in desk as it was on 3 floor with access via 2 person old elevator. No instructions as to how to enter building or find them. They need to provide detailed instructions via email of how to access property once at address. Staff were great. Clean nice room but I am not sure all rooms were as big as ours. Breakfast was 8-10 but unfortunately we booked 8:30 museum tours so only made breakfast once. Missed it 3 out of 4 days but it was good! Starting breakfast at 7:00 would have been appreciated. Very short walk from train station. Again hotel could have provided walking instructions as Google Maps took us a longer way with difficult sidewalks.

TOHHYUNG • Family Trip

This hotel was the most expensive place during our trip to Italy but the worst of all. Front desk staff was ok but the house keeping old lady was very rude and stubborn. There were three adults but only two shampoo and shower gel. I asked to get one more set but she said no. I was very embarrassed at her stubborn attitude. Breakfast was not worth the price. I would never recommend this hotel.
