All in all this is a good hotel and you get what you pay for. The location was perfect. We took a public boat and dropped us off basically right in front of the hotel. Most of the top attractions are within walking distance and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. The only downside to this hotel is the shower and wifi. The shower pressure was very little and it quickly changed from hot to cold. The wifi was terrible. It barely worked, you couldn't surf the internet consistently. It kept cutting out.

First up, the good point is that the hotel is strategically located and has easy access to many locations. It is a 10-minute walk from Mark's Square. The drawback is that the room is adequate for resting your head and legs after a hard walking day but not worth the price we paid. Breakfast was awful, scrambled eggs were in a bath of butter, the bacon was just fat and perfectly cooked, cereals were a good job, and the personnel weren't very pleasant. They appear to be friendly to certain nationalities, we are British, and the gentleman in reception was 6. We have six staff, but my husband is disabled and the receptionist just stood behind his desk, watching me struggle to get our suitcase onto the boat and my husband struggle to get on the boat. One night, we walked into the bar to have a drink, and the singer was great, but the bartenders were drinking shots with tourists who were not very professional.

This hotel offers many advantages. In particular, it is conveniently situated between Marks Square and the Academic Bridge. Both are accessible on foot in just 510 minutes. In addition, brunch was satisfying, offering a variety of hot and cold buffet meals, including croissants, pastries, and cakes. We also couldn't fault the hotel's cleanliness, the rooms are cleaned daily to a very high standard, and our small room had a powerful shower and a very comfy king-size bed. Although they didn't interfere with our enjoyment of our stay, there was one issue. Sometimes, the hallways, reception area, and bar were inundated with a heavy odor of drains. Of course, a mild odor from the canals is characteristic of a visit to Venice, but the hotel's situation is distinct from this and was particularly unappealing, particularly at breakfast.

As other reviews say, the location is ideal, just a few steps from the busstop water bus i. Maria del giulio and the ferry gondola crossing the grand canal, as well as a short walk to the piazza san marco, the opera house, or the ponte dellachademia. The staff is always friendly, greeting you, helping you, and looking at you in the eyes, my experience is that far from all venetians working with tourism do this. On the other hand, I felt they considered us a necessary evil. Small room ok, I just need a base camp and a bed. And the bed was great! After walking 250,000 steps, you need a comfortable bed for your tired body. Thank you for providing me one of the canalside rooms with a balcony. If I ever return to Venice, I will return to this hotel.

We will definitely stay here again. I personally highly recommend this wonderful hotel. I just got back from venice and we stayed in this amazing hotel. Our room was great, on a level with a canal view. Breakfast is also good, with lots of food. All the staff and service are also great. The hotel is spotless and clean. Very simple to get to from the water from the airport I would strongly suggest it.
