This place is absolutely delightful! Its unfortunate that we only spent one night here, but the supper here was simply amazing, but there are only about five tables available, so make reservations for 5,000 yen in advance to avoid disappointment! The shared bathrooms were a bit strange at first, but we eventually managed to get over it. The rooms were a nice size, and the common areas were ideal. The staff was fluent in several languages and provided excellent service. This location is highly recommended!.

The location is 10 minutes drive from the town center, so its not a problem because the owners will happily drive you there and pick you up at your convenience. Try the dinner option and treat yourself to a very high standard meal at a very reasonable price. Breakfast is included and freshly made. Very happy and satisfied with this place and will definitely come back when in takayama.

Auberge ini terletak di pintu masuk hutan menuju Kiyomi dari kota Takayama. Senang rasanya bisa menikmati lezatnya makanan Italia yang disiapkan oleh pemilik muda dan bersantai sambil menyaksikan api di perapian. Sudah penuh dipesan, tapi yang mengejutkan saya adalah kami adalah satu-satunya orang Jepang dan sisanya adalah turis dari negara lain. Rasanya agak aneh, seolah-olah kami sedang bepergian ke Eropa Saya kembali diingatkan bahwa Takayama juga telah menjadi destinasi wisata internasional. Entahlah, apakah karena ini terong sehingga terasa lebih akrab bagi orang kulit putih.

This is a beautiful homestay or hostel located about a 10minute drive outside of takayama main centre. The place is beautiful, clean and very relaxing. I highly recommend booking dinner with your stay, the food is amazing. Everything about this place is great value for money!.

This summer, i spent 18 days in japan, and this location was one of the highlights. The proprietors are charming and speak excellent english. Although the location is a bit far from the city center, the proprietors are more than happy to arrange transportation between you and the place. Its a lovely, serene location.

The accommodation is truly exceptional and deserves a special mention. The charming familyrun accommodation is situated a bit off tokoyama, offering a stunning view. A complimentary shuttle service can always take you to your desired destination and returns to pick you up there. The rooms and the entire establishment are recently renovated and exude a stylish aesthetic. The breakfast is presented in a variety of dishes and is incredibly delicious. A true tip for this place is to book dinner as a course menu. The palate of italian cuisine is spoiled here! However, there are two minor criticisms. Unfortunately, the wlan was subpar, which is not typical of japan. It is unfortunate that there are no showers in his own rooms given the high standard of hospitality. Otherwise, everything else is excellent.

Selain penginapan, auberge juga mengadakan pesta pernikahan. Beberapa waktu lalu saya mendengar bahwa makan malamnya enak jadi saya membuat reservasi dan mengunjunginya. Saya mendengar bahwa koki tersebut tinggal di Australia dan berlatih di restoran Italia di sana. What an amazing experience. We only stayed one night here, but we wish we could have stayed longer. There is something about this place that just relaxes you i cant put my finger on it, everything comes together so beautifully. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully laid out, i was worried about sharing a bathroom but they turned out to be exceptionally clean and we never waited. The food, as all other reviewers have lyrically stated, is absolutely delicious. There is magic going on in the back kitchen you would almost think this was a fullblown restaurant masquerading as a bed and breakfast. The family who runs this gem are extremely attentive, patient, and kind, multiple languages are not an issue. Just come by, you wont regret it.
