The inochi family was so welcoming on arrival of our stay, helped us book ferries before our trip and were there to greet us off the ferry. They have good knowledge of the island and gave us many recommendations. The guest house was very clean and organised and had great facilities. The island was beautiful, could not recommend enough. The island is beautiful, everyone should go see sea turtles alone. A.

The room is quite clean and comfortable but simple. Good location. I brought earplugs which probably helped me a good night's sleep. I paid 2,00 yen for a futon in the dorm but had the room to myself. No meals are provided but there is a shop 2 minutes away and a fridge, microwave and kettle in the communal area. Bikes are available for rent free for less than 1 hour 500 yen for less than 6 hours and 1,00 yen per day.

The main disadvantage of this hotel is that they do not provide hot water from 11 pm to 11 am. That is an issue that makes you could not even take a shower early if you arrive for 11 am. This hotel is close to the only grocery store on the island, however the personnel was also welcoming. The accommodation was simple but pleasant. The common area was nice for relaxing and chatting. There are a few bikes and snorkel mask rentals available that are first come, first served.

You can hear everything. The guy next door opted to snooze his alarm every two minutes from before 7 am until 7 am, and I could hear it every time. The beds appeared to be quite enjoyable, but if you're not accustomed to sleeping on these kinds of beds, sleeping is far too hard. There aren't many breakfast options around the island because most hotels provide breakfast, but not inochi because it's one of the most basic. We struggled to eat breakfast both days and went to Cha Villa, where they had a very basic breakfast, but the lady was really helpful and gave us some advice on the island. The only location served breakfast appears to be la toque, but you must make a new reservation the day before. I booked a room with a small bathroom shower, but I'm not certain if all rooms have it there are shared toilets and showers downstairs.

Inochi guesthouse was where we stayed for 4 wonderful days on Salami Island. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. Despite the fact that it isn't a luxury hotel and the room may be a little tiny, it does have all the necessary amenities, including two futon beds, a fridge, a hairdryer, an air conditioner, a balcony, and kitchenware in the common area. The lodging's surroundings are incredibly peaceful, and the other guests did not disturb us either. Everything is close by, with Ama and Furuzamami beaches located close by, which takes about 5 minutes by foot. The bike rental was excellent, and we greatly appreciated everything. Once more, we appreciate the Inochi family for everything! Everyone should stay at this hotel sincerely!

Starting 1 February 2027, changes in local tax regulations will require guests to pay an Accommodation Tax at updated rates, which will be collected separately by the property at check-in. The tax is determined based on the room rate and is charged per person, per night, as follows:
