We have been renting a 2 bedroom condo at green Haven for about 6 months. We havent made a single friend living here. Its a nice place overall, with a pool and 2 gyms that we use frequently. There is a game room, a mini theater room, lounges, etc. A beautiful garden wellmanaged with lots of plants and trees. However, this place is not a community or friendly, there is a gap between the socalled owners and renters. Most residents are sydneys who consider green Haven as their second home, and they keep to themselves. Very few people talk to us and ignore us even in the elevator. We met some wonderful malaysian and indonesian people who talk to us whenever they meet us. The owners, led by a Singaporean, have a whatsapp group. After stating that i live here and have trouble dealing with maintenance and other issues with the condo, they let me join the facebook group. Residents deal with all the issues, not the owners, as they do not live here. Its an isolated and unfriendly place, but if you like privacy, this is the place for you. Fortunately, we have our own activities and friends outside to make our lives better. Green Haven has electrical faults. When we report to management about the electrical fault, they send the same guy to replace the plug and the same problem continues. Im not sure if he is a certified electrician. Before any damage is done or an electrical fire occurs, management must conduct an external assessment of the wiring in the building. In 2011, i lost my sister and mother due to an electrical fire. The internet is expensive and not good. Despite all the downside of the issues mentioned, we love living here at green Haven, the gyms, the free rides on the green Haven shuttle, the security guards, the only friendly souls who will wave you a wave and a smile, the view of singapore, the spacious condo, among other things. I only hope the management takes all the complaints that were submitted to them seriously!.
