This is my first time exploring. Would I return? No, because I am sick from car accidents and don't want to come back. This is a very relaxing and slow-paced location. You will sense the time just stops. This is a good place to visit if you don't want to run away from the city road to arrive there be cautious. The road is narrow and dangerous.. There are a strawberry farm and waterfall, but there are few restaurants nearby. I never tried them as I had my own steamboat except for breakfast. The best food is steamboat or bungalow. I stayed in Hollebeke Mini-Bungalow Pax. House was nice, the paint seems new. The night will be extra cool. But the pillow has a slight musky mold odor perhaps due to the cool weather. For the first time, I would stay again..

This bungalow is a really nice relic of the past and hoped that the management can achieve a higher standard of hospitality. Hollebekke is a stunning bungalow. The exterior retains the rustic charm of the colonial past while the interior has undergone recent renovations. There are five rooms, three of which are in the main structure and two in the annex. What disrupts an otherwise pleasant visit is that inadequate attention was given to providing a satisfying experience to visitors. The most basic amenities I've ever seen, and this for a bungalow that costs around 00 per night. First of all, this is a nonsmoking bungalow, and you can find more amenities in an apartment for one-third the cost, no stove, no pots, no pans, no cutlery, no chopping board, and no microwave. Although there are no cups, a plastic kettle was provided, I wonder if previous guests drunk straight out of the kettle. There is soap, but no shampoo or extra toilet paper. Additionally, there is no hair dryer, wifi, or a functioning remote control. Previous reviews have been extremely useful in highlighting the mosquito issue. If there is netting attached, only open windows. The bungalow is a truly beautiful relic from the past,

The bungalows are lovely from the outside, but unreachably maintained inside. As operated by the state government. The beds are comfortable and spotless, which is an advantage. There are numerous hiking trails nearby. ample parking space. We were able to easily fit three vehicles with another to spare if we wanted to. The disadvantage is that due to my apartment's location on top of the hill, the water pressure was very low, a water pump wasn't beneficial. At no cost, we were informed about this. The restrooms present a safety hazard, especially for elderly people. Due to this, my wife and I both fell down. The restroom can be slippery, and the bathroom can be slippery. There are no towels or even a place to hang them in some rooms. The water pump was leaking and was leaking through the roof, and their solution was to give us a bucket so we could watch it drip and when the water was falling farther from the ceiling, they gave us towels to flush it out. No action was taken to either relocate us or repair the pump. The unit had a lot of dead bugs and moths nearby, which makes me wonder if the housekeepers bother to sweep the whole bungalow.

The apartments are attractive from the outside but are poorly maintained on the inside. As administered by the state government. The beds are nice and clean. There are many hiking trails nearby. Plenty of room. if we wanted to, three cars would be easily accommodated with another to spare. The drawbacks are that my unit was on the top of the hill, and because it had a water pump, the water pressure was very low, which didn't help. When we checked, we weren't informed of this. Bathrooms are a safety risk, especially if you're traveling with the elderly. The bathroom can be slippery, and the wife and I both fell. No simple handrails are provided in some rooms, and there is no place to even place to hang towels. The water pump in my unit was leaking and leaked through the roof. Their own solution was to provide us a bucket to let the water drip. When the water eroded more from the ceiling, they gave us towels to soak up the water. There was no attempt to move us or fix the pump. There were many dead insects, moths, and bugs throughout the area, which makes me question if the cleaning crew ever take a trip to the entire bungalow.
