Skønt, charmerende sted. Forvent ikke super luksus, men til gengæld super autentisk og skøn perle ude i skoven væk fra Cameron Highlands' overturistede områder.

Nestled in the heart of the lush rainforest, the Rainforest Lodge in Cameron Highlands offers a truly unique and immersive experience. The setting is nothing short of spectacular, surrounded by verdant greenery and the tranquil sounds of nature. This scenic location provides a perfect backdrop for a memorable family getaway. Culinary Delights One of the standout features of our stay was the exquisite food. The lodge serves meals crafted from ingredients sourced directly from the jungle, offering an authentic taste of the local flora. We had the unique opportunity to participate in activities such as using blow pipes to gather ingredients and enjoying meals cooked on an open fire in a barbecue style. This hands-on culinary experience was both educational and enjoyable, particularly for our children. Accommodation The rooms at the Rainforest Lodge are basic and traditional, which adds to the overall rustic charm of the place. While the simplicity of the accommodations might be a challenge for those who are not fond of bugs, it significantly enhances the authentic rainforest experience. Our children found the traditional setting fascinating and it provided a great contrast to our usual city life. Outdoor Activities The lodge offers a variety of outdoor activities that are perfect for families. There is a beautiful waterfall and a small river where guests can swim and raft. These activities were a highlight for our children, providing endless entertainment and a chance to connect

Gee Tatt, Muin and Osman were excellent hosts. They were welcoming, friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed interacting with the orang asli that lived in the area. Muin demonstrated to us how they used blowpipes and traps to hunt. It was a very enlightening and educational experience. Coming from a very hectic and stressful city environment, the soothing sounds of the waterfall and nature really helped to refresh us. We enjoyed the different varieties of breakfast every morning. They brought in different types of local food for us to try. On the first morning it was Roti Canai, followed by curry puffs and kueh. And finally Nasi Lemak. All were delicious. As the location of the inn is not near any outside eating places, we chose to order the native dinner each night. We enjoyed the grilled chicken and fish. The portions were very generous too. The highlight of the stay for us was definitely the waterfall and stream. Taking a dip in the cool and clean waters was such a unique experience. The room itself was comfortable and cooling. There are multiple power points in the room, which we appreciated. We opted to pay more to get the room with the attached bathroom, for convenience. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Nature lovers will really appreciate this place.

Highly recommend this place if you visit the Cameron Highlands. The dinner and lunch were both great. You should not hesitate to come here with your friends or family. It is better to be in nature than in the busy city of Tana Data. Mosquito nets are perfect for the night.

This is a wonderful experience of being in a rainforest. The room was basic and clean as was the shared bathroom- clean and basic. The dining area is next to a waterfall and there is a lovely swimming area. It is quite a distance from Ringlet. The owners will pick you up. It is best for those with cars.

Our visit was an opportunity to stop and enjoy the beauty of the natural environment. Our hosts were very welcoming and the dinner and breakfast, eaten with the back drop of a waterfall, were delicious.

Ultieme ervaring midden in de natuur, jammer van de gestandaardiseerde uitstapjes. Na het avondeten is er niets te beleven, vroeg naar bed dus.

For me, the experience staying here was worth so much more than the small cost per night. I stayed three nights and was able to tour Cameron highlands and spend time with the family working at the property. I took a hike through the jungle, cooked over a fire, and saw the local neighnoring village. I came here looking for a different experience than what the hotels had to offer, and what I found was a peaceful oasis of nature and traditional livelihood in a modernizing agricultural region. Hosts and staff were very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend. Thanks

This was such a great stay. It is off the beaten path and on the edges of the jungle. We had an authentic experience and our home for two nights was a bamboo hut complete with mosquito netting and sounds of nature. Meals were traditional meals and served in a communal atmosphere. We were able to meet other travelers, share stories and adventures. As an added bonus staff at the Rain Forest Inn arranged for a private jungle trek complete with a guide. This was such a fantastic experience. We were in the heart of the jungle and even discovered that some bamboo contain water that is potable! The jungle trek was difficult, but if you are in moderate shape it should be no problem. It was about 4 hours in trekking time (not including lunch and rest breaks). The first half of the hike is uphill, which makes the return quite nice!. if you are looking for an authentic experience, i recommend this place. They also show you how to shoot a blow gun and set traps!

I have been meaning to find a forested area to stay in Cameron Highlands, and Rainforest Inn fits just perfectly for my purpose for meditation. Undisturbed and Serene, the natural environment with water stream totally rejuvenates one's well being to connect and reconnect with the nature. One must for once a while, get away from the bustling city lives to get back in touch with Nature.

It's great overall. Surprisingly, my mom and dad who age 50-60++ love this place too. We were all enjoyed and surely will be back again. Love the native dinner, worth for money. They've prepared a lot and we couldn't finish it. We've received a lot of surprise that arranged by them, surprise breakfast (I didn't know we'll have it.), surprise learning lesson for blowpipe and native's animal traps. Wow!!! Love it so much. Gee Tatt is a very good story teller and he's really informative. Our journey in Cameron Highlands planned well due to his guidance too. We'll be back for the Rafflesia and Mossy Forest Tour for sure.
