*A great place to stay on the actual island of Male’. Perfect for recovering from jet lag or overnight stay before a long flight. The entrance to the hotel may seem like it is a back street but not to worry, it is safe and used heavily by pedestrians. All the best.

We had a 7hour flight at the airport in velana and were given the option of taking the airport lounge, a local tour, or a short stay at beehive premier. With covid-19 and a very busy airport, we decided to take the short behive accommodation for 5 to 6 hours at usd 60 to escape the crowds. The hotel is small, but the lobby looked decently clean. Rooms are small, but at first glance, the room looks very clean. The toilet was also surprisingly dirty, with used towels on the floor and some debris on the floor. The toilet also had an odd sour smell. Im not sure if housekeeping even bothers to check and clean before we went to the room, and not sure if all transit passengers are offered such rooms. The wifi in the room was good, and one large bottle of water was offered in the room. They have a nespresso machine, but only one capsule. The tv was fine, but it was difficult to navigate the channels. Restaurant on the rooftop. The food is quite good, and the restaurant service was very pleasant.

The room overlooking the bridge is stunning. The restaurant located on the top floor is also fantastic. The food served there is the best ive ever had. Try the tuna kottu. Great place.

We needed a hotel at the last minute, and we were able to secure a room. The place is very nice, the staff is very helpful, and there is a fantastic restaurant on the last floor. Great view of the friendship bridge between china and the maldives.

This place is a good place. The service, rooms, cleanliness, food, and location are all excellent. There isnt a gym. In the washrooms, there is no face wash or soap. My rating is 4 stars.
