Three independent senior travelers rented two rooms with windows on request that would open to a patio with plants on the roof. Basic, yes, our hot water worked only occasionally, his shower worked but soaked the bathroom floor. However, for some reason, we loved it! Cannot beat the location 1 block east of main street marco 31 tons of restaurants, shops and street activity. No noise that disrupted anyones sleep ill bet no hotel in this town has no noise, bring earplugs to Mexico. Coffee and maker in the room, comfy beds, clean grounds. Breakfast not as good as it seemed, but a great best across the street a few doors west at the Maya Papal eggs Mexican, beans, avocado, fried plantain, tortillas, whole grain bread, coffee for 55 pesos.

The rooms are a bit small, but comfy. The hotel has a great location within walking distance of all the attractions. Plenty of blankets and hot water. Free and secure parking a few blocks away. I would stay here again.

The hotel lobby and restaurant are beautiful and well situated in the center of the historic area. But, there is no onsite parking. The concierge hopped in our car to show us a parking lot four blocks away. The room had no heat, but we did get a small space heater on request. Restaurant wasn't in use, possibly due to the unheated dining area.

There's a great place to stay because you can get into the old city, and you won't regret it. The rooms are quiet and the condition of the room is very nice. We can warm up in the evening and blankets don't always work as we want but it does not make a big difference, and the breakfast is served on time but the quality of the meal is good

This is a lovely boutique hotel. The rooms and hotel have lovely furnishings. It seems like it should be a hotel in Paris. The personnel were incredibly helpful, especially Andres. The only things I believe need improvement are the amount of toiletries and more towels. I also think that the bathrooms could be updated and the breakfast could be improved. The selection is minimal, but maybe that is what breakfast entails in ecuador. If you can book the owners suite. Except for the bathroom, it is similar to a presidential suite in the United States.
