The owner is having a laugh. We attempted to reserve two rooms close together, but despite the fact that we appeared to be the only visitors remaining, we were placed as far apart as possible. Our room overlooked the sea and was fairly situated on the shore, but it needed serious renovation and all toilet fixtures were damaged. On arrival, we had the most delicious lunch, which included grilled sea bream and salad, so we decided on the per-person evening meal, which turned out to be one of the worst dinners I've ever had bland lentil soup, crabsticks in pesto sauce, cooked potatoes and carrots with dry overcooked lamb, described as a barbecue and a dessert. Despite our complaints, we had to pay the entire price when the next evening we walked up to the dune, and the four of us had a far better meal in total. We did not try the spa, but it appeared dull, unused, with unhealthy-looking standing water in the pool, and unattractive. Although the manager was rarely present, the rest of the staff was completely lovely, the pool area was lovely, and the beds were tidy.

We had a very relaxing three days during tsar massa with the sound of waves and views of the enormous beach, had delicious food and appreciated the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. We tried a hammer body scrub, enjoyed the camel and donkey ride from people on the beach, and got to go surfing once we finally found baba the surf instructor.
