I stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time. The hostel is quite tall (4 floors) and there are terraces with tables and chairs on each floor making for great sun spots and views across katmandu. Staff are nice and even took the effort to knock on my door to check if i was awake and ready for my early flight. During our stay at this hostel, everything was flawless! Khem and his team are incredibly kind and helpful, they assisted us in scheduling our bus, laundry, and even drove us to the bus station. Always in a good mood as well. The breakfast is excellent (mango juice, tea or coffee, banana, toast with butter, jam, or honey). The room is quite large, with sattling balcony and hot water. You can enjoy stunning sunrise and sunset views from the rooftop. Ideal location to meet travelers from all over the world!.4.8/510 Nov 2023

In my month in nepal, i spent two nights here. Its only five minutes away from the bustle of downtown thamel. The staff is incredibly funny, polite, and helpful in making reservations for trips, buses, or anything. Breakfast works well, with consistently excellent eggs. There is free drinking water and a proper hot shower! We had countless times here the rooftops were wonderful places to hang out and the garden was amazingly lush. Khemraj is a very kind host. Very supportive and compassionate. We also had countless enjoyable conversations. The rooms are adequate, although they can use privacy curtains. Close to the main market. Staff is very nice and helpful. Not recommended for those who enjoy party vibes. When you visit katmandu, you might want to think twice about staying at ebrus home. The personnel are helpful and kind. In addition, the room where i stayed with my family was welllit and spotless. Its charm was enhanced by the terrace. Also, when visiting kandapult, its a good idea to stay there. Additionally, they offer affordable rates.4.6/520 Aug 2024

The hostel is really charming and cozy, offering spacious and peaceful dorms and rooftops, providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. The owner, khem, is incredibly helpful and friendly, adding to the overall experience. I had a great time at ebrus home! I was very happy to have gotten i spent more time in the city of katmandu and was pleased to find he room that was quite large, clean, and light with even tv. The hostel allows you to either do your own things and spend some time alone on one of the roof terraces or the garden, but if you feel like talking to other people and sharing time together, there are plenty of places to do so as well. Khem and his staff are all very nice and try their best to help everyone with whatever plans they have for their stay in khemmandus and nepal. Although it is not fully in Kathmandurah tourist district, the location is ideal for getting there while still being close by. There is also fried rice included in breakfast, which is good, as is surrounded by good restaurants. I highly recommend coming here and will return myself.4.6/520 Jul 2024

The room was spacious and clean. Included in the stay is a simple but delicious breakfast (eggs, toast, bananas tea and juice) and refills of water. Water is hot and has good pressure which can be difficult to find in Nepal. The host, khem, was very friendly and helpful. Really great value for money.4.6/514 Jul 2024

I had a wonderful time during my recent weeklong stay at the ebrus hostel in chitwan. I was really pleased with my experience, which i had to extend for ten days in Kathmandu due to canceled flights and visa issues. Khem was incredibly kind and offered me many activities to fill up my week. He also organized enticing tours and lodging in his native country of chinwan for me, something ive been very grateful for. We stayed for several days at khems wonderful hostel. The service was excellent because we could leave some luggage there for free whenever we went hiking. There were plenty of breakfast options, comfortable beds, and clean rooms in the hostel, all in close proximity to the city center.4.6/524 May 2024

I had a great time at ebrus home! Its simple but definitely worth the money. It is ok as if it were merely tastier hostels, but it offers fewer amenities. I came without any plans or ideas, and khem and his team truly made my stay in katmandu wonderful. If im lucky enough to return to catmandus, i would most likely stay here again!.4.6/54 May 2024

The hostel is truly remarkable. It offers a serene atmosphere, with fast internet connections that can reach more than 70 mbps, hot showers, and comfortable beds. The location is conveniently located just 5 minutes away from the bustle of thamel centre, which is undoubtedly favourable. However, the man who runs it goes above and beyond to assist you. I would return. The garden is pleasant and a place to meet people. Pretty central thamel, not too noisy but never quite. With high, quite high views of the surrounding area and some mountains in the distance, the structure is quite large. Its owner is friendly. My room was spotless, and the shared bathroom wasnt too awful either. Breakfast was adequate, it sets you up for the day.4.6/51 Feb 2024
