Although the hotel is situated on a busy street, you immediately feel at home there. Being a vegetarian, my biggest worry while in Nepal is food and accessibility. Being close to Kathmandu airport is the ideal location for vegetarians such as me and pilgrims from India looking for vegetarian foods. The room I was initially given was a little noisy, with too many families making noise. The pashupati path temple is nearby, but on my request, the owner was kind enough to move me to a more spacious, quiet, and comfortable room. The staff paid particular attention to my food requirements, and the proprietor took specific attention. The ac was effective as the room was getting chilly, and the rooms are wellkept. Because the brand used was local items, toiletries could be improved. The hotel offers stones and holy saligrama in a store.

We reserved 3 rooms. The staff was friendly and helped us with all aspects. The best food we had had there. The hospitality from the entire staff was impressive. The rooms are clean. The staff was helpful in organizing our local site visits and resting. After all it's a good place to stay in Kathmandu.

The hotel is clean and provides outstanding hospitality, and its located close to Pashupati and Gunjeshwori temple. The entire staff and management are quite accommodating and will guide you throughout your stay. The hotel rooms are quite comfortable and spotless. There are two restaurants there, and my favorite is one that serves fast food in the front. I had a great experience while staying here, so I recommend the dosa here. Ill definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to everyone.

In my opinion, the location is very strategic, with close proximity to the airport and a temple that can be used as a home for sex and a good place for rest.

It's not in the touristy part of town. It will place you in the midst of the locals, and it is a bit dusty and dirty, at times. I've not been to the rest of the city yet. Half the people on the streets will wear a dust mask, maybe a bit less than half. It's from the plethora of dirt roads that can get quite dry and dusty at times. The hotel is across the street from a major temple which I think is a pilgrimage site. Mahade is another name for the Hindu god, Shiva.
